Lisa was amazing. Patient, informative and not pushy with the sale or process. My puppy cane from an Amish farm in Ohio. I was not allowed to speak to the breeder until the night before I picked up my pup. Once I got home my puppy had runny stool for over a week. I took him to the vet and was told he had a yeast infection in his ears and Giardia. He will be fine, but $300 later. I was told that he was healthy and was up to date on shots. Only the rabis shot was administered by a vet. The other vaccinations were done at the farm. Now I will pay another $70 to have the vaccinations redone as I cannot trust that they were administered properly. For what I paid for my puppy I expected to not have to worry about these details in the first week.

What I liked.. the dog, he is a great lil pup. Jordan was excellent in his assistance and communication with me. What I did NOT like, the lack of communication from the rest of the journey. I had called to get information on Woody (his name now) from the breeder and was told that no communication was going to happen directly. He had a examination from a vet prior to his shipping and when we took him to our vet he had a nasty ear infection, the previous vet SHOULDhave caught that! when I did communicate with the breeder it came across as a puppy mill setup to me. Woody was 6 months old with no potty training, no leash training etc. It was as if he just existed in a kennel! Which it was..

This was our 2nd puppy from Puppyspot. The first time I believe it was more ignorance is bliss mixed with whoever the breeder was for our first puppy was excellent. After learning how the puppies are transported when they come to you by van in a parking lot (not ideal conditions ) though more expensive we decided to have a puppy chapperone. We received the chapperone flight information and realized our puppy would be first flying west to Indiana to come east to NY. We cancelled that and went to go pick her up ourselves. The communication during the time they take your money until the time we got our puppy was not good this time around. I asked for new pictures at week 2 and 3 days since last time that breeder updated them weekly and was told ok but then when I called to cancel the puppy chaperone and asked again about the updated pictures I was told they only do them every 3 weeks.(last rep told me every 2 weeks) For the money you spend on the puppy weekly updated pictures is not a hard ask it's just good customer service. Our 2ns puppy we love dearly but she did come to us with a parasite that she needed medicine for. Next time we will go to a breeder that we can actually meet who can share details about the puppy instead of meeting some middle man and have no information about your puppy's daily life prior to coming to you. We had no idea things like was she use to the crate, was she sleeping through the night etc. They absolutely make it feel like a business transaction instead of adopting a little life. The puppy was delivered too far away, I also called to see if other arrangements could be made, and no one got back to me. I requested that my cell number be sent to the delivery company, and it was not done, so I received no updates on where the puppy was.

The website was great, purchase was easy but working with the delivery side was a problem and almost caused me to cancel the purchase of my puppy.

Andres at puppy spot was great. He helped me along and answered all our questions. I deducted the stars because I feel you should be able to speak with the breeders. It would be more helpful when they get to their new home to see where they are at in training and eating, sleeping habits. The transporters/drivers were great and on time.

The company seems great but our dog arrived with large yeast infections in both ears. The breeder’s vet signed off that the ears were ok but they aren’t. I spent yesterday after her arrival trying to rinse the excess gunk with ear cleaner and will take her to the vet today for treatment. There was a lot of black yeast . Anyone who has had a dog knows how persistent a yeast infection can be. I’m waiting for puppy spot to call back. Seems difficult to get info from the breeder about the dog beforehand. Dog arrived safely and the driver was very nice. Still not sure about hauling a dog so far across country when I was told that there is air travel which would have been quicker. Dog was extremely thirsty when she arrived. But she’s doing great and seems to have a great temperament.

When i reached out they called me everyday up until i paid. Then it became hard to get someone on the phone. My dog was not linked to my account. And still is not. The breeder was not communicative and the dog looked a mess. She was way bigger than the photos and smell really bad. I would beg to differ on the whole puppy mill things they say they don’t do. My dog acts like she’s lived outside and has to rush to eat her food. The process was stressful. I did all the tips provided on the ride home but she threw up multiple times. I think if I’m paying for a meet up the breeder needs to come closer. The company has no organization and they charge way too much to meet up or deliver the puppy. They need to look closer at the breeders and condition of living the dogs are in.
