I have very mixed reviews
I have very mixed reviews. I was very happy that I was able to have my puppy held for 2 weeks since I had a previous vacation planned. Communication was fair, I didn’t feel I was getting accurate feedback to my questions from the foster parent. Transfer went well. I took my puppy to my vet, only to find out I needed to have 2 vaccines started over due to a 2 month delay in her receiving a booster that should have been 3 weeks! Now I find out her stool sample reveals giardia on now must have meds for that!! Overall I love my pup and we make a great pair. Please ask lots of questions and get answers regarding your pup!

I would have liked a progressive report…
I would have liked a progressive report on my puppy. Also you should explain more what the additional $750+ one pays to have their puppy delivered closer to their residence. I was told that the puppy would not be delivered to my home which I totally understand for safety reasons but I was not told it could be up to 2 hours away

The Puppy was so cute and sweet, But the travel was not what they said.
The Puppy was so cute and sweet. The travel for the puppy, we were not told the truth. They said the drivers would take the puppy out of the crate and walk the dog. They left the dog in the crate for 4 days and could not go out. They said because they had other dogs. The dog is so scared to be in a crate now or anything confining. That was terrible what they did.

Very excited to get my Mini…
Very excited to get my Mini Goldendoodle. The problem is that she was delivered 5 hours later than originally stated and she arrived with Kennel Cough that we are now having to have treated. She also exposed our other Mini Goldendoodle so that both dogs have to be treated and then rechecked in one week. The Men who delivered the dogs were courteous and kind.

I had a better experience with this company in past purchases.
I have used PuppySpot in the past, and I felt like I had a better experience then. I was disappointed in the lack of information about the puppy we just got, and also there was very little in the way of updates, or information about her parents or the breeder. The puppy was purchased but the delivery was around 3-4 weeks later, with almost no new information about her. I thought that maybe when she arrived I would learn more about her breeder, or parents, but I was wrong. I think that in the past the lines of communication were better. I think that part of the process could be improved, but aside from that the puppy we got is amazing. She is brilliant, beautiful and healthy.

I would have liked to have been able to…
I would have liked to have been able to receive more information about the puppy prior to receiving him. For example, how often he was fed, potty habits, sensitivity to any particular sounds or items. I resented the pressure that was attempted to put on me to buy health insurance, telling me that I HAD to buy it. The travel cost was too high.

Pros and Cons
Chuck the delivery driver was great! I’d give him 5 stars alone. He was very clear with instructions, on time, and got us our puppies quickly. The dog smelled so clean and good when we picked him up which was surprising due to the long drive. :) It was very easy to reach somebody when I was trying to buy the puppy, but once I already bought him, it was harder to get ahold of somebody for questions. Also, they guarantee a 10 year health commitment, but do not mention that you have to pay for their insurance and get the dog neutered in order for it to be effective. That was a bummer. Insurance was almost $100 through them which I can find cheaper, elsewhere.

After I bought my golden doodle I had…
After I bought my golden doodle I had no communication from Puppy spot. Until he was ready to travel which was a month. Secondly I would have liked more communication from the breeder pics, video? Thank you
