Puppy was received with severe skin infection and bumps all over body. Took weeks and weeks to get reimbursed from PuppySpot to reimburse vet bills.
Around 6 months old, puppy become food and human aggressive. Biting children. PuppySpot and the breeder refuse to take dog back to re-home. Dragging out the process asking for notes from a trainer even though the veterinarian provided detailed notes and a letter. Would not recommend PuppySpot. Deal directly with a breeder.

The puppy was wonderful, BUT...
The puppy was a wonderful, well adjusted dog and communication with the breeder was great once they put us in touch.
Communication with PuppySpot, however was very poor. It seemed like they didn't even read my emails. I told them this when they asked for my feedback and they never reached out to me to discuss.

Horrible Customer Service - Multiple Discussions with PuppySpot CS Reps in which the CS Reps were caught in lies!
From the outset, we had issues with communication with PuppySpot. They required full payment up front (damn near $4,000!) and then would not communicate on the puppy pickup location, date and time - went radio silent! After several long, intense days of trying to get feedback from PuppySpot we were finally told we could pick our puppy up on 08/13. I communicated back that 8/13 would not work, needed to do the pickup on 08/16. Took several days/phone calls before anyone responded. At that time, the response was that they couldn't give us a date for pickup because the puppy hadn't had its final vet checkup yet. What????????? We had already been given a date (08/13), we were just trying to move the date by three days! Finally, after much persistence on my part, we were given the date we needed with a reasonable time for pickup. HOWEVER, the afternoon before we were to travel from northern lower Michigan to Indiana (LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE), I received a phone call advising that the puppy had a medical/physical condition. The PuppySpot rep tried to tell me that "it wasn't a big deal!" Seriously, nearly $4,000 and you're telling me a new puppy with medical/physical conditions that will only get worse with time is no "big deal?" We ended up having to cancel the purchase but have been told the refund request will not be put in for a few days. Again, WHAT? When we sealed the deal for the puppy, our payment was taken from our bank account IMMEDIATELY (not a "few days" later). Unbelievable! Nothing but lousy customer service from the outset. Will never, ever recommend PuppySpot to anyone. If I could give a negative stars review, I would!

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the experience you had.
We understand how disappointing and frustrating it must have been to encounter communication challenges during such an important moment. Your concerns about the pickup coordination and the last-minute medical update were valid, and we regret that the process did not meet the level of service you expected or that we aim to deliver.
Please know that we have already processed a full refund for your purchase.
Our screening process is designed to ensure that both our customers and our puppies are well-matched, and after reviewing the details of this experience, we respectfully believe that we may not be the best fit moving forward.
We do wish you the very best in your search for a new companion and hope you’re able to find the perfect addition to your family. If there’s anything else you’d like to discuss, you are always welcome to reach out.

No Communication
I asked 3 times if I could find out a puppy's current weight. First time I got cold called by "Kelvin" who didn't answer my question but apparently wanted an instant sale. The next 2 times I got ignored. Honestly, when they act like telemarketers and won't answer questions, I start thinking there's a puppy mill behind the slick website.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we're sorry you didn't receive the information requested. We truly care about connecting healthy, happy puppies with loving families and are always happy to answer questions directly. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime.

For the love of puppies and your sanity, don’t use Puppyspot.
Is our puppy cute? Absolutely! However…
1. No matter how many times we asked, we were denied further information about the breeder.
2. No matter how many times we asked, we were not given additional pictures or information, including after we had paid in full. We were also not allowed to meet the dog in person, which is highly atypical. We volunteered to fly across the country to do so.
3. No matter how many times we asked, we were denied specifics on when and how the dog would be arriving.
4. No matter how many times we asked, we were denied detailed information about the puppy’s care, needs, habits and routines.
This is very much a company that will become impossible to communicate with after you give them your money. Once the transaction is complete, you become irrelevant to them, even though the questions are for the best interest of the animal and a smooth transition.
Prior to payment, they were inundate you with spam and cutesie language to try to make the sale.
After payment, (including while you’re still waiting for the dog, which will take WEEKS), radio silence unless it’s trying to get you to purchase services from their “partners”.
I read horror stories in reviews but I was hoping that things had changed over time; I was wrong. I strongly encourage anyone seeking a pup to add to their family to work directly with breeders or force more information before handing over your money.

I purchased a beautiful puppy on July 1…
I purchased a beautiful puppy on July 1 and she was delivered to me on the 26 of July and she was in horrible condition! Totally matted and stunk terribly bad!! I had her professionally groomed on the 27 and upon her vet visit discovered she has a bad parasite! Now taking 5 different medications, I’m praying she gets well. Puppy Spot made it easy to purchase her but delivered me a puppy with inhumane condition!! The breeders obviously did not care for her and I would NEVER recommend this experience to anyone!!! It has been proven to be the worse experience I’ve ever had!!

We’re truly sorry to hear about the condition your puppy arrived in, and we sincerely appreciate you giving us the opportunity to connect directly. While we’re glad to hear your puppy is now receiving the care she needs, this is never the experience we want for our customers.
Our team is committed to the health and well-being of every puppy, and we’ve taken your concerns seriously. We appreciate your feedback as we work to improve the experience for future puppy parents. We wish your pup a full and speedy recovery and a lifetime of love in your care.
