There are far too many e-mails and trying to up sale things and even trying to get you to buy things from partners. I feel if I bought from you then you should not do this. It also took too long to get our puppy. Everyone except the manager Jennifer would tell me they were checking into something and would call me back, to never keep their word and call me back. Jennifer was great and kept her word.

The Puppy Spot contact person was very knowledgeable and helpful however, there was very little information from the breeder and zero contact or questions allowed between us, which was difficult. The van that brought our puppy seemed sketchy. The drivers seemed a little shady and I got the feeling the travel was uncomfortable and traumatic for the pup. It was nice to receive a info packet from the breeder when our pup arrived, it felt more personal. I wish we had had that information from the beginning.

I would have preferred a 25% holding charge until I physically picked up the puppy. I didn’t really want to use an Amish breeder because of what I have heard about their breeding practices. I would have liked to have been told but they were very nice and I do have their vet administered shots. I will take him to the vet asap hopefully tomorrow so she can give the vet a call and maybe find out for me the vets history. I felt a little in the blind but right now he seems fine. Don’t like to judge by what I have heard but more by what I see. I think more info might help the buyer feel more confident in the process. I purchased the pet insurance for now. He was clean and alert. Lots of energy.

I disliked not being able to speak to the breeder as soon as I made my purchase of my puppy. When you purchase a puppy for that amount of money you should be able to speak right away to the breeder. I found out after the fact that other companies do let you be in contact with breeder right away. I would recommend friends to go with a different company for their puppy not Puppy Spot. We love our puppy Gabby but there needs to be more communication between the breeder and the purchaser.

Puppy spot was fine as far as the platform and the purchase process. However, you have zero communication with the actual Breeder and I asked for a few things and was not even responded to from the intermediary that I was put in contact with. I think it’s a very unfortunate situation. And you should have more direct contact with the breeder to ask questions and get advice from. The way that it is you have zero. You’ve basically purchased your puppy and you are on your own.

Puppyspot was very responsive while I was searching for a puppy to adopt. After they got their money, not so much so. I had to ask for updates. If you email through their Help email, it takes almost 48 hours to get a response. Their website says they are open until midnight but come to find out, that's only their sales department. Once you committ to purchase a puppy, they are only open until 7 or 8pm EST. They say the puppies are to be vet checked five days before travel. Mine was vet checked on the 15th and arrived eleven days later. They say upon receiving the vet report, they will review it with you. I had to call and ask for it. I received my puppy on a Saturday and she had her first puppy exam at our vet on Tuesday. At which time she tested positive for Gardia. I reached out to PuppySpot immediately after receiving the diagnosis through their online bot but also through their help email. I provided the documents from my vet. That was five days ago and the only response I've received is that they will review it. When I emailed again stating how disappointed I am that they haven't made it a priority, I got the same canned message that they are reviewing it and will get back to me shortly. According to their terms and conditions, they will reimburse for any parasites found within the first two weeks. I am delighted with my puppy. Not so much so in Puppyspot's after purchase communications. They continually send out these tips and tricks emails from their marketing manager but that's not true communication, it's scheduled form emails. Seems once they got their money, they don't want to hear from you. ***Update: Heather from Puppyspot called me and they will be processing a refund of $150 as per their policy, for the parasite treatment.

At the beginning of, everything went extremely well. The guys that transported her from Indiana to Texas were wonderful. Precisely on time. All was well. The problem arose when I received the pup and started interacting with her. I purchased a Doberman. In the photos, the breeder is holding her ears up. I specifically asked if she could not hold them up and Puppy Spot said no because they have not been cropped yet. When I got her and took her to the vet , they ARE cropped and were not taken care of properly. So now they flop and cannot be repaired. I would not have purchased her if I had known this. I would not have paid what I paid for her to have floppy ears. She also had an ear infection when I got her. So my first visit to the vet was $350! I am pretty disappointed to say the least.

I am happy with my puppy. However, I'm disappointed that PuppySpot would sell a dog with a birth defect. My puppy has a bilateral inguinal hernia that was indicated on the health report and verified by my vet. The hernia can be repaired when the puppy is spayed. PuppySpot will pay up to $225 towards the hernia surgery. I will submit proof of surgery and the amount and they will decide how much they'll pay. I realize the hernia and repair is minor, but for the money I paid, I expected a perfect puppy. Also, I wasn't happy with the delivery transportation. I was told the puppy would be delivered straight from the breeder. Instead, it's a two part delivery. The puppy was taken to a stop-off point three days prior to my delivery, and then it was brought to me. So the puppy had a really long trip and exposed to more people. They made me wait four weeks after I paid for the puppy, so it was 14 weeks old at delivery. That's pretty old to start training. All in all, I did receive a really nice puppy, but I'm not happy with the way PuppySpot handled the sale.
