The employees at the branches are excellent to deal with and I recently received an email to fill out a survey about the branch I usually go to. The employees at the West Hartford Lasalle Road branch are always attentive and happy to help you and seem to be very happy at doing their jobs. Upon filling out the survey and providing exemplary ratings I found that I could not submit the review as I had a notation that my name was invalid and i repeatedly went back to double check everything but was never allowed to submit my review . This was very frustrating and it is apparent that Webster corporate does not do a good job of selecting a reputable company to put out customer surveys and I found it to be a waste of my time .

Access to account information I have had my very elderly mother’s power of attorney for years. Her Webster bank account receives only her social security check, and I use those funds to pay part of her assisted living fee (veteran widow payments and my funds pay the balance). I have had trouble getting account balance information online so a couple of months ago I went to the Providence branch, gave them my power of attorney, and at their request changed the account password. Today I could not get the balance online, and called Webster. Refused to help. Account is small and there is no reason to be suspicious. It was recent that I personally appeared. Told me to go back the branch.
