I sent Psa a card that I wasn't sure if it was real or a reprint. They told me it they thought it might be real and charged me $600 to grade it but never gave me an official grade. They said the $600 was because the cards value was worth nearly 10k. What a scam!

So, I had three cards to have graded, I went to PSA to have them graded. They graded them one card 9 and the other two card 10. I had to resubmit them, I took them back the second time, and they changed all my PSA cards numbered to 8. Really didn't and didn't make any sense to me. This place is a total joke. PSA were the last ones to look and to touch my cards, why did they change it?

3 different orders & all 3 times they overcharged me. No offer at add'l compensation for their mistakes (they did refund the overcharged parts) or my inconvenience. Feel like their business model is to cheat their customers / that their appraisers charge what they want, not what was agreed upon when I placed the orders. If they made only 1 such mistake, fine, I can accept that. 2 of 3: that's a little bad. Some form of add'l compensation is just. 3 of 3: that's horrible.

PSA SCAM company and very rude staff. Beckett is way better :)

PSA damaged my card and refuses to take ownership. Still got charged the cost of grading...

Charged my credit card without providing any information about the items I submitted. Refuse to provide a refund without having graded the cards. PSA is a scam to be avoided at all costs. Literally anyalternative is better. SGC is faster and more affordable, with better customer service.

PSA literally trolled me and took $20 for it. I have two authentic Muhammad Ali autographs, they are the typical 60's exemplar of his writing that you see in PSA slabs all the time. I wanted the quick opinion service to help me sell my autographs easier (because unfortunately they have a monopoly in the market), and they both came back as "likely not genuine". Both of them have COA's from one of the best Muhammad Ali boxing authenticators in the world, who has worked for Heritage auctions and Sotheby's. They failed them on purpose, out of spite (after the second time I have no doubt about this) . When the first autograph failed I emailed PSA and said "whoever said likely not genuine knows absolutely nothing about Ali Autographs and his handwriting". I told them that I actually owned the piece and just used the service to help me sell it, as they have a monopoly in the autograph market. Clearly PSA didn't like this, hence the "likely not genuine" outcome for the second blatantly authentic autograph. I will now use Beckett, and I will never use PSA again. They are crooks.

25 month wait on a return submission and they have absolutely f*cked it. This is my 4th sub and return and I've been grading a long time yet 60% of this return came back 4/5/6 grades when the cards were pack fresh cards. They don't have a clue what they're doing anymore there and us as customers have zero right or power to challenge being ripped off. I can't help but think something needs to be done about this.
