Proven Data LLCReviews of provendatarecovery.com

I came back from a blissful vacation only to have the first abysmal experience of having my SD memory card infected by a nasty virus known as Cryptowall, which encrypts data files with a super strong virtual key enabling a type of Ransomware that has to be paid to the cyber criminal scumbags in order for the files to be restored through an anonymous abomination currency known as Bitcoin. Anyone who has had this happen to them knows how devastating this feeling is like losing a loved one so there I was feeling awful and angry the entire month. To make matters worse, there were no other data recovery service that could help due to the extreme difficulty of eliminating the virus, not even one of those big name, commercialized tech tools who ended up misleading me, wasting 3 weeks of my time! Nevertheless, they rectified their incompetence through a refund and gift card so now they're not that bad after all but still the time lost sucks.. Lo and behold from one lucky phone call to one of the fifty independent techs in the area, along came Mark and his tech savvy team of true professionals known as Proven Data Recovery! They are the whiz specialists who came to the rescue of saving my beloved memory card. Mark was wonderful and friendly in assuring the cynical type that I am that they have a 97% success rate and EXPERIENCE in dealing with these type of sick Crypto cases. Mark is not only a professional but an A-1 class act as well in explaining things in straightforward plain English w/o having the need to condescend as what bad businesses do. The total recovery process took about 7 days and this crew was even kind enough to ship it directly to my home, aside from sending me a Zip file which could be saved to a hard drive. The only thing about this process that set me way back was the price and I have to say get ready to spend an amount equal to 2 months' rent in a big city if you are serious about your data being recovered. However, this is the sacrifice that is made for sentimental issues like this where you can't put a price tag on those meaningful memories to be remembered and shared with loved ones so Proven Data Recovery team, Kudos to you!!

They communicated with us every step of the way and worked with us. We were very pleased.

My Mac Book Pro froze and then would not reboot so I took it to the Apple Store and the genius there said the hard drive had failed but he could see my data and that it should not be too difficult to retrieve. He recommended that I go to Micro Center. Micro Center confirmed that they could see the data but could not retrieve it and said they would have to send the laptop to Boston. I found the techs at Micro Center to be condescending and rude. Even though I had brought a drive to put the recovered data on they tried to sell me a new drive saying that since my drive had been used previously they could not put my files on it. I decided to find someone else and took my Mac Book home. Micro Center charged me $35 for doing nothing. I found Proven through a Google search and was impressed by the reviews. I called and spoke with Steve who I found to be very knowledgeable and sympathetic. I brought the unit to Proven and Steve called and confirmed that my data was recoverable. I gave them the go ahead and they went right to work. Within 48 hours they sent several documents for me to see and two days later I picked up the same drive I had brought to MC with all of my data on it. I also spoke with Mark after they confirmed my data had been recovered. I found everyone at Proven including the receptionist to be very friendly and professional. Although data recovery is expensive, it was my own fault for stupidly not backing up my work. Proven's price was right in line with all of the data recovery services I spoke with. I highly recommend Proven to anyone who finds themselves in this kind of jam.

When an improper camera shutdown caused my memory card to delete over 7,000 unbacked up photos - nearly every digital memory of my 1 year old's life, I was completely devastated. After calling PDR and rushing the memory card to their midtown location, I was thrilled to learn just a day later that all my photos could be recovered! I can't thank this company enough for what they saved.

My wife and I thought we had lost all of the data on our removable hardrive, but PDR recovered it within a week and put it on a new removable hardrive for us, so we didn't have to worry about the old one not working again. They were extremely professional and did a great job. Thanks PDR!

I spent a lot of time searching for data recovery services. I have spoken with at least 5-6 other companies before I spoke with Mark at Proven Data Recovery. Mark was the only one who made me feel comfortable enough to trust my equipment with. At the end, the Proven Data team didn’t fail us. They were able to retrieve all of our data without any corruptions. They did such a great job, all within our budget! We hope to never lose our files again, but in the event that we do, we will not hesitate to give them a call.

From the initial quote to the delivering of the recovered data, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I recovered a substantial amount of data

PDR was simply the best!!! Throughout the entire process of recovering the 2TB of data from my external hard drive that had crashed, PDR was absolutely professional, timely, and extremely attentive to all of my correspondences. They explained everything thoroughly including the options of recovery, were extremely punctual, and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about PDR and highly recommend their data recovery services. Even their costs were quite reasonable when you think about the time, effort, and energy that they saved me in recovering the data that I would have had to reproduce if it were lost forever. Super company with amazing customer service!!
