I have been with protect America for years and I love being with the company. My only challenge with them is the type of equipment that they provide for us for in home monitoring. I get phone false alarms at least twice per year, I get phone calls from them saying my alarm went off when in fact it did not, or my alarm goes off and nothing was out there to trigger the alarm. The cell phone monitoring system is great because I can arm and disarm from my cell phone. Customer service reps are always wonderful to talk to and always helpful.

We've been a customer for years. We pay for monitoring monthly. For the most part we have had great customer service. We recently experienced a loss of phone service including all dial tone, yet we weren't contacted by the service at all. They have an alternate number to reach us in such an emergency, but no one did so. We are beginning to wonder if their monitoring is worth the price. we also have issues with the equipment we had to pay for when we signed up and we cannot get it repaired. Oh well.

I switched to Protectamerica due to problems with another security program. Although I was not enthused with the 3 yr contract need, the price is affordable and they are prompt to act on alarms that are not disarmed in a timely manner. I also appreciate the portability of the system, which does not automatically "scream" alarm.

When I purchased my home, the system was already installed and all I had to do was transfer everything into my name. The process has been very easy and I was even able to add my garage door entry (previously no sensors at that door) at no extra charge. The tech was able to guide me through the process on how to add the new sensors in no time. While this was helpful and easy, I'm really not much of a DIY'er. I would rather have a tech physically come out and do it for me due to my insane busy schedule. Otherwise, I am very happy with the service. Thank you for making it so easy!

I have been with Protectamerica since May of 2001 and have been very satisfied with my alarm system. I was always afraid of unexpected breakins with me being a single mom with two daughters. Not only did Protectamerica give me a snse of security but it also helped me keep track of teenage daughters coming in going with the system keeping me informed of doors opening and windows opening. Protectamerica is #1 with me; I would recommend them to family and friends.
