General Proofreading is an exceptional program. I love everything I learned in the course. The meticulousness of the content, practice worksheets and quizzes made for an excellent student experience. Not only did I learn an immense amount about proofreading and editing concepts, I gained my first clients just by following the step-by-step lessons in the getting clients section of the course. I am recommending this program to everyone. I tried a couple other programs and this was by far the best one hands down in my experience.

I am so glad I stepped way out of my comfort zone to invest in this course. I am not new to proofreading, but until now have not considered it as a source of income. Proofread Anywhere empowered me to start my own remote proofreading business, which is now enabling me to stay home with my children rather than commute to an office everyday 9 to 5. The training tutorials combine a healthy mix of video and text materials that are teeming with valuable information about proofreading, grammar, how to get clients and market yourself and copyediting. I immediately started getting repeat proofreading clients after I passed the final assessment in January this year. The training is rigorous and comprehensive, so it’s not for the faint of heart. The course was extremely helpful, and I was able to go at my own pace. I found that all of the supplemental materials really helped me to pass the exam on the first try. I hesitated on spending time on the business-building modules after the practice section, before I took the exam, but this honestly forced me to spend more practicing proofreading. I got my exam back on the same day that my business cards and county license were completed; it just all came together perfectly at the end. I appreciate all of the guidance and help to get me prepared.

The course was of excellent quality, being comprehensive, and relevant in that it focuses on necessary skills to be used when proofreading. I found the ability to work at my own pace was convenient and having access to the private Facebook Community was helpful. Thanks to Caitlin for creating such an excellent course!

I highly recommend this course. I love the fact that it is self-paced and can be completed while working a full-time job. The content is thorough and provides plenty of practice prior to tackling the final exam. I'm looking forward to taking the next course.

All the information presented in the course was helpful. I was very glad that I chose this course to launch my proofreading career. I will be retiring soon, and I was looking for something that would help fill the gaps, yet I didn’t want to do the usual type of job. So, after researching online, I found this course and was impressed with the level of detail. I would recommend it to anyone interested in looking at proofreading as a profession.
