I've just been working on the Transcription Proofreading program for about two weeks. Everything about it is professional and straightforward. I did complete the General Proofreading program earlier, and that coursework was excellent also. I appreciate the clear explanations in each lesson, and I love having the support of the Facebook group. Thank you so much for this program!

I have been an unofficial proofreader for most of my adult life. This has definitely been the case for the past twenty-three plus years. I thought that I could breeze through the course without any worries and "Boy, was I wrong!" My specialty is business writing and white papers and the General Proofreading: Theory & Practice course was "just what the doctor ordered." I highly recommend Proofread Anywhere for anyone interested in a career or part-time job in the world of proofreading.

I am not done with the course, but I have passed the exam and am ready to move forward into the rest of it. The modules were very clear, I appreciated having the text along with the audio as I am hard of hearing. The practice essays were very good practice, and I felt the exam was a fair test of what I learned.

The lesson plans were well thought out and there was plenty of practice essays to help work on problem areas. The ease of going back to lessons to revisit them if I need a review or had questions was helpful for me.

You, actually, may be disappointed with me. I haven't started the course yet. I'm trying to get started today. I didn't remember my password,and had to reset it. When it was reset I was directed to Transcript course I've started, but haven't finished. I've now signed up for the General Proofreading course. I need to ran that course. Should I go to that, and sign up with another password?

For any word nerds out there, and you "come aboard," you will have plenty of support from the Proofread Posse. They truly care about your success, and are more than willing to be of assistance to you. So far, I am scared to death!! I am almost 58 years old and I think I have forgotten more than I care to admit. I have to stop and give myself a refresher on some of the grammar rules. I have worked in the legal field for almost twenty years and have always been the office "proofreader." So my confidence took a blow when I started the course! I am working my way through the course and I admit that I am enjoying the challenge and look forward to my future as a proofreader and hope to be able to work from home in the future.

I am in the process of taking the General Theory and Practice Proofreading course, It is a lot harder than I expected. I feel that when I am done, I will most definitely have some skills to be able to offer to clients. I appreciate how thorough the course is, and would recommend to anyone wanting to become a professional.
