I really liked that the General Proofreading: Theory and Practice course included "hands-on" practice exercises. Good resources for review are included also. I've taken my share of online courses and I'd say about half are just watching videos or reading. Not so with Proofread Anywhere. This course is well worth the time and money I spent on it. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to pursue proofreading as a career.

Thorough! Great overview and encouragement to practice, practice, practice. In addition to the course's instruction modules, there is a plethora of information on beginning a business. There is also a very active Facebook support base to help answer questions and give congratulations and assistance.

PA is definitely a course that helps you get started in proofreading, but it’s also a course that helps you learn how to be a proofreader that can find answers and make your document the best it can be. There are so many things to learn in being a proofreading professional, and you have to be able to find that information and apply it to your work. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and I learned so much.

This course is thorough and gives you all of the skills and resources to be a professional proofreader. It also includes information on starting your own freelance business, which I really appreciated. If you take this course, take your time, re-do sections as needed, take your own notes, and be patient. No one becomes an expert after doing something once, it takes practice and patience.

Having completed the General Proofreading course, I can assure any aspiring proofreader that it'll be completely worth every penny, provided one stays consistent. Right from the basics all the way until setting up a business, the course provides knowledge with a great deal of optimism.
