Although I have experience in a courtroom environment, I have not been involved in transcript production. However, I do create and edit training documents, so I thought this would be a good fit for my current skillsets. Turns out I was correct, but the path was more enlightening than expected. The program was logically organized, clearly presented and very suitable for gaining knowledge and experience. The combination of lessons and practical application in the 50 practice resumes/answer worksheets was invaluable at pointing out my flawed assumptions and areas for further study. It also demonstrated how much I didn't know about what I didn't know. I would encourage anyone considering this type of work to consider this program.

I think this is a great introduction for someone that is already inclined to find errors in everything. Getting a certification and access to the job portals has value. I recommend this course.

Constant information, good communication. Efficient and helpful

At my age, taking on a new course like this was a bit of an undertaking. But the support I received from everyone, including in the FB group, was absolutely awesome. Not to mention the different avenues of continued success you are given after you pass. It can be a scary thing to start something from scratch. But now that I have made it this far with it, I have realized a lot about myself. The entire experience has honestly been the perfect combo for me, personally. I will recommend this course to as many people as I can along the way. And THANK YOU to the entire team and all of those that help to make this course great.

I'm finished the grammar and punctuation modules and am about to move on to the business modules of th General Proofreading course. Much of what I've done so far was already familiar to me, but the review was worthwhile and there were details I didn't know. Everything was well-presented and I found the worksheets and quizzes useful. I'm looking orward to completing the course, and hoping that it contains information I can apply to setting up a business.
