Just Meh. Overpriced and not a good outcome.
So, for the $, the essay quality was just ok. They let my son write 2 essays on the UC common app that were not even answering the prompt. One was about a hardship and how it was academically challenging, etc. and the topic they helped him pick was not academic at all. In the end I sat with him for hours afterwords and reworked all his essays. We changed 2 completely and revised heavily the rest. For the $, I would not do it again. He got into some good schools, but I'm sure the Prompt essays would have hurt him and I'm thrilled at what we did on our own.

We appreciate the honest feedback so we know where to improve! While we vet our coaches thoroughly and each one goes through an extensive training program, it doesn't always work out on the first try. Families are always welcome to get in touch with their Student Success Manager or our director team if they notice something not going as expected -- that's why coach rematching is free and unlimited, and we encourage families to ask for one of our coach mentors or directors to review an essay at any point if they have concerns. Unfortunately, it looks like we weren't aware of your struggles with the two drafts your student did, so we didn't have the opportunity to make it right. If you'd like to reach out to us directly to let us know more about what we can address, we would be happy to hear from you.
