I called ProMerchant based upon their good reviews looking for a different credit card processing company. Alex was very helpful with my account set up. He was very attentive to my needs and patient to explain everything into detail. So far my experience is great.

I'm going to join the five star parade of reviews. I called and talked to 5 different credit card processors about switching away from a long term relationship with Elavon (Costco). My conversation with a sales rep at ProMerchant was by far the most concise and coherent. My rep radiated "full disclosure", and was up-front about all fees and "terms and conditions", normally buried in pages of fine print boilerplate. I sensed no hint of deception. He outlined how we could operate with no equipment, only a browser based Virtual Terminal. The fees were low enough for us to project saving meaningful $$$, even with low transaction volumes associated with winding down our business. We signed up, and were approved and up-and-running by the end of the day. It took a little bit of tutoring by our rep and the support tech to get us going with the Virtual Terminal, but what a dream to use. We do no more than click on a bookmarked browser tab, login with an ID and Password, and in a few keystrokes, process a transaction. Same cost to us whether the client is standing there with card in hand, or on the phone giving us the card information. The largest variable cost component to us is if the client uses a Rewards credit card. Enough said. So far- great, every step of the way.

Credit card services can be a bit complex, since you have several partners that have independent roles, in prder for the transactions to go smoothly. I ran into an incredibly stressful situation where the systems weren't working for an unknown reason and no one seemed to be able to figure it out, and My business was on hold. One team was telling me that it was the other person's issues and vice versa. After hours invested, I got my Pro Merchant representative, Brett Erickson involved and he very literally took ownership of the issue and worked with the multiple parties with to figure it out. After a collective 8 hours of back and forth investigating, he was able to narrow it down to a very simple coding resolution. My stress was through the roof, but he managed to get it resolved. I very much appreciate the work.

ProMerchant, specifically Brett, made the process super fast and painless. Generally, switching/procuring services for your business seems unnecessarily cumbersome. Not with ProMerchant. Everything was done inside of a week, and at least half of that time was on me. I saved money too! Brett was very responsive, answered all of my questions, and hand-held where necessary. I would 100% recommend ProMerchant.
