Project Management AcademyReviews of projectmanagementacademy.net

Project Management Academy class materials were great. I read the PMBOK once before the boot camp. Boot camp brought it all together. Instructor emphasized important points very clearly. The online tests and capability to print/review answers really helped in studying and prepping for the exam. I took the test two weeks after boot camp. My overall total study time from opening the first page of the book to completing boot camp and taking the test was two months. I highly recommend PMA.

Great course, materials and instructors.

I enrolled in the PMA Bootcamp for my PMP Exam at their website and took the 4 day workshop April 17-20, 2017. It is expensive, but IMO, well worth the cost! I've taken several Bootcamps previously so I knew that you are going to be given tons of information in a short time frame and to be prepared for that. This workshop probably had the most info to absorb of all the workshops I've taken; however it was by far the best organized and presented. I'm sure most of that was due to my instructor Phillip Jackson. He definitely knows his stuff... not only with the material but from his work experiences. Additionally, he not only made the class interesting, he made it fun too! Bootcamps are only successful if the instructor makes them such and Phillip Jackson did so for me. The PMA Website was also very good. After taking the Workshop you'll need to study both material and practice taking the exam. The PMA website had everything you need in order to reinforce and strengthen your Project Management knowledge prior to taking the exam. I took my PMP Exam May 24 2017 and PASSED! Thanks Project Management Academy and thanks Phillip!!!!

I highly recommend Project Management Academy. I recently took the PMP Exam Prep Course with Mike Strachan in Arlington, Virginia, and it was fantastic. I have tried many times to study for the PMP on my own, and have never felt more prepared than I do after completing this course. Mike gave real life examples of the material to help it stick in our minds, but really stayed focused on what we need to know to pass the test. I know exactly where to focus my last-minute studying and have a strategy for passing the exam. Thank you so much, Mike!

Highly professional organization and excellent course. Jon Sysel was an amazing instructor and I would definitely recommend this organization for the PMP course as well as other courses.

Jeff Hogan was the instructor and he was excellent. He is extremely experienced, has a wonderful sense of humor and makes everyone feel confident in passing the PMP exam. He was thorough in his explanations and continuously engaged the entire class. The training materials supplied are excellent. The 4 day boot camp is brutal but I highly recommend PMA and this course.

Very happy with my Project Management Academy experience. Jackie Ockleberry was my coach, she was terrific, the materials were great, the PMA website and tools were very helpful. Jackie and PMA enabled me to pass the PMP test on my first try.

I took the PMP Prep Course in January 2017, and I had a great experience. The instructor, Mike Giacalone, was fantastic! The course was presented in a very professional manner and the materials were easy to follow. PMA's plan of instruction detailed the curriculum in a step-by-step approach that followed the project life cycle. The class was very interactive, and Mike had several real life scenarios to relate to from his experience as a seasoned Project Manager. Additionally, the online content tools were very helpful. The videos, the flashcards and the timed practice exams helped reinforce what Mike covered in class and aided in the absorption of knowledge. I recommend that each student take full advantage of what the website offers to further their studies. I sat for my exam in May 2017 and passed on my first time. The Prep Course, along with the website are extremely helpful, however, you have to assume responsibility for outcome by developing a study plan for after the course. Mike relayed his approach to us and that is what I used and it worked! This was money well spent. Thank you PMA and thank you Mike Giacalone!
