Took the PMP bootcamp on December 4-7, 2017 in San Jose and passed the PMP exam on first attempt on January 22, 2018. We had a great instructor Joseph Drammissi, who did not only explain the concepts very well, but all provided very useful study tips to pass the exam. He clarified confusing topics and pointed out areas to focus on. I honestly don't know if I would've passed the exam without the bootcamp with Project Management Academy. The study materials that come with your tuition is a necessity. There are practice exams, flashcards, formula summary, study guide, ITTO summary, etc. I took at least 3 full, 4-hour practice exams. The bootcamp was so worth the tuition! Thanks Joe!

I took the Project Management Academy boot camp for Project Management in early December. My instructor, Jackie Ockleberry, was the best! She was professional, extremely knowledgeable and gives you all the pointers you need to pass the exam.I passed on my first try!! This course is a wonderful supplement to the PMBOK Guide and provides helpful tips for being successful in passing the PMP Exam. I had some down time at work and wanted to stay busy so decided to get my PMP. I signed up for the 12/11/17 boot camp and passed the test with above proficient scores in 4/5 process groups on 1/13/18. The PMA customer service reps were friendly, the cost was not cheap but in line with other bootcamps, the training was at a hotel downtown (no complaints there), the teacher had an actual background in Project Mgnt via construction. All around, this path worked for me but not without tons of hours of self study.

PMA's PMP prep course was excellent--well-organized and thorough. The instructor (Karl Cheney) did about as well as anyone could with this voluminous content. Karl's great (and often humorous) analogies really brought the PMBOK content down to Earth. In addition to the course itself, PMA offers many helpful post-course study aids free of charge. These include live tutorials. I recommend this course without reservation to anyone interested in the PMP credential.
