My son totaled his 2016 Ford Focus SE evading a pac of deers on a rural road. Boy are we being treated poorly by our claim representative at Progressive. We filed a claim about 3 weeks ago and was offered $9100.00 to buy a simular car that cost on average 13 to 16 thousand. They fasely claimed my car was in fair to poor condition and took off 1750.00 for condition. I admit it had a few slight blemishes on the driver seat and carpet removed in rear passanger floor well. But it aint that bad. The inspector used a magnifying glass to show a very small tear in a seat. I aint kidding. when compared to simular cars at the dealership mine was in average or better condition. Right now Car Dealers are selling used cars with major blemishes and not moving on asking price because of the shortage of car to sell. So at this point im waiting. After sending in what i thought were comparable cars for their usual 1 day turn time on reviews im getting the cold shoulder from the progressive agent. Cant get a response from Christina in the Charleston SC office. Boy you pay insurance to cover your accidents and still you come up wildly short. Would you agree it's time for some reforms and some policies that actually are helpful. I Am RETHINKING MY PROGRESSIVE POLICY. Hey THEY ARE MORE REGRESSIVE THAN PROGRESSIVE.
