I absolutely love the look and solid structure of the chain, but I only wish I had spent the extra money on the custom clasp.

I was looking for a custom charm for my necklace. It was a very specific design that I requested. Proclamation sent a few different options that blew me away! I agreed to one of the designs and in about 8 weeks later it showed up. When I saw it in person it was even more spectacular! This is was my first purchase with them, so I’d like to be as detailed as possible to give other first time buyers an idea of what to expect. Some backstory; I have a solid 14k 3mm Milano chain I got from a family member that I love & has a ton of sentimental value, but I really really wanted one of Proclamation’s signature clasps. I ended up messaging them on Instagram, explaining I already had a gold chain but wanted to see if it was possible to buy just the clasp and then take it to a local jeweler to have it installed. They responded to me within an hour saying they were more than happy to sell just the clasp and to let them know if I wanted it customized in any particular way. In my opinion, that was incredibly cool of them to do. I really wasn’t expecting them to say yes. That isn’t something they offer on their website and I would have completely understood if they would have said no. I requested the signature clasp with the tiger head, I wanted to skip the black enamel and also my initials engraved on the bottom of the tiger head. Once again, I got a response within an hour stating that was no issue, and I had an invoice in my email inbox shortly after. Throughout the entire process, I felt that they treated me like a customer that ordered a $10k+ custom piece. There was a relatively significant wait time. Don’t let that deter you and don’t be like me and bug them every week (sorry guys, I was super excited 😂) When I received my clasp, I fully understood why it took a while. It’s literally perfect. The detail on this tiny clasp is mind boggling. There is no one else out there doing anything even remotely close to what Nick & the Proclamation Team is producing. They are seriously crafting heirloom level jewelry. Their customer service is stellar and I personally feel their prices are very reasonable. To give you an idea; At Helzberg, a semi hollow 18.3 gram 14k Franco chain costs about $2700…. At Proclamation? That would get you a solid 14k gold Franco WITH a signature clasp coming in at *around 34 grams…..why would you EVER shop at a big box jewelry retailer again? To the prospective first time buyer, a piece of advice, unless you already have a chain you really don’t want to replace like I did, I would recommend purchasing a chain with the signature clasp instead of just ordering the clasp. The local jeweler I had install the clasp didn’t do it as well as I think Proclamation would have. My local jeweler soldered two small rods at the back of the tiger head and it slightly melted some of the detail in those areas. That is absolutely no fault of Proclamation. But if you want everything done perfectly, just order everything from Proclamation directly and let them work their magic. Moving forward, I will contact Proclamation for any of my jewelry needs. Whether an engagement ring, gift for others, gifts for myself, they are the first place I will go. They do a lot more than what is shown on their website, which leads me to my only criticism: In its current form, I don’t feel their website does them justice. It makes it look like their offerings are much more limited than they actually are. Had I not gone to their FAQ page, I wouldn’t have known that you can request pretty much any type of chain link you want. If they showed more chain link options on their site, I think they would capture business from places like Jacoje & Saints Gold. That’s the end of this incredibly long winded review. That’s again Proclamation!

Pendant is a little smaller than I expected, but I did order the smaller size. It is about the size of a nickel. Even for being small, the pendant definitely has some weight to it. It is also nice quality. I think I will order the larger size for the next pendant I order.

The chain that that I order looks really great I love it, also it was packaged very nice I will definitely order again from this company.
