Bastet
It is a scam
I am editing my rating coz Benzinga reached out to me and refunded my subscription. I will leave my comment coz I still think it isn't a good thing not to show users that they keep their credit information. Also, the customer support was very rude and didn't help me till I made some noise so just be cautious. It is a scam. I had an account with Benzinga that I registered with to try the free trial for Benzinga pro which is different from my original account where I have a premium ideas subscription but then I found 1300$ deducted from my credit card. I was told that I ordered a product that I don't remember ordering from the account where I made the free pro trial which is impossible coz I don't have a credit card there. I make sure that my credit cards are never left on any website I register to for safety and so I don't have the automatic renewal thing without notice. I made sure that they didn't have my credit card data on Benzinga's website in case I forgot that I registered and as they had my credit card from another account, I thought it was a confusion or a mistake. It seems that they don't show you on your account that they have your credit card information. No one can delete their credit card data or paypal themselves, they have to contact the support for that so I cannot prove that I didn't enter my credit card as they say I did and as I cannot find it in my data, I cannot be sure that I entered it and that they didn't make a mistake and used the other account data. Completely unprofessional scammers. I also think this is a violation of the GDPR as I cannot even find my own data that they have on me and there is no way to find out till they charge you for something. Another scam, the product that they say I subscribed to says that I pay 7$ for a trial of 7 days which was also deducted but then they extended the product for a year without an email. The product doesn't even exist on their website in this description, they have only 7 days money-back guaranteed. Shouldn't it be either 7$ for 7 days trial or 7 days money guarantee not both. TradeIdeas offer a trial for 11$ and that's it which is a normal business model. Extremely indecent business model of Benzinga. Terrible terrible company.
