We understand exactly how frustrating it is to be waiting for results or needing treatment when necessary. We're at the mercy of Quest when it comes to result times, and in rare cases they are delayed due to circumstances out of our control. Unfortunately this did occur over the holiday when our physicians were out and unable to authorize treatment, therefore there wasn't anything we could do to expedite the process. We're refunding your treatment consult fee to compensate your time. Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll be happy to assist.

We're sorry to hear that you tried to reach us during non-business hours. It is clearly stated on the top of our website that we are only open from M-F 7:00am-7:00pm CST. Most labs have different operating hours which is where you may have been confused. We assure you that providing patients with the utmost care is our #1 Priority. We apologize for the misunderstanding. Ensuring our results are reliable is one of our highest priorities. We outline the possibility of false negatives on our testing options page to assist patients in understanding which tests we offer and when they should be taken. In the case of HSV, there indeed is a latency period as your physician accurately described.
