Thank you for reaching out to us. Equivocal results mean that your antibody level is slightly elevated, but not high enough to be considered positive. This occurs when your immune system has naturally elevated IgG levels, or if you have been recently infected. Indeterminate results are not "innacurate" or "inconclusive", though, or else a separate test would be run to confirm. We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing anxiety about your results, getting tested can be a scary experience. Our goal is to provide nothing less than 5-star service to our patients, therefore we would like to extend to you a free test for HSV at a date of your choosing. You can contact our patient services manager any time tomorrow to schedule.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Will you kindly give us a call so we can remove this PSC from our database? Nearly all testing centers in our network do not require an appointment, however there are a few we are trying to track down and remove. It looks like your results processed within 72 hours, which is a normal turnaround time for the tests you ordered. All tests are FDA approved and performed in CLIA certified laboratories, which means your results are accurate. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help!

Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We recommend that patients do not urinate for only one hour prior to collection to ensure the sample is viable. If you were instructed differently at the lab by Quest, then this was in error. Any instance where there is an issue with how our patients are received at the collection site, we notify the appropriate directors at Quest to ensure followup action is taken. We will review the verbiage in our confirmation emails and look for opportunities to make collection instructions more clear. Our goal is to provide nothing less than 5-star service to all of our patients and feedback like this is crucial to achieve our standards. Hello. In rare cases, results can take longer than the 24-72 hour window period provided by Quest. Ultimately we are at their mercy when it comes to fulfillment. Any time there is a concern about result times, we ask that patients contact us so we can follow up with Quest directly and inquire about their status. We have reached out to patient services and are asking for a resolution on your lab order and will relay any update to you as soon as we receive it. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions and we will be happy to assist. You will receive a credit for your lab order within a few days.
