My Experience with Prime Seven Media I feel it is important to share my experience with Prime Seven Media so that other authors can make an informed decision before committing to their services. In my experience, while Prime Seven Media does provide the services it advertises, I found the prices charged to be extraordinarily high when compared with other companies offering similar services. One example concerns the production of a book trailer for one of my books. Prime Seven Media charged me $8,000 for this service. Some time later, after speaking with another reputable media company, I was quoted £500 for producing a comparable book trailer. A friend of mine, who was convinced that I had been significantly overcharged, commissioned the second company to produce a trailer for the very same book. Both trailers were then submitted independently to a company that reviews books and book trailers for promotional purposes. I was informed that the £500 trailer was the one they would have chosen if considering the book for film promotion. For me, this raised serious questions about whether the much higher price I had paid represented good value for money. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated concern. In my opinion, the pricing of a number of Prime Seven Media's services appeared to be substantially higher than comparable services available elsewhere. Had I understood the market better at the time, I would have sought quotations from several providers before committing. My purpose in writing this review is not to discourage authors from investing in the promotion of their books, but to encourage them to do careful research, obtain multiple quotations, and compare both pricing and the quality of work before making any financial commitment. Based on my own experience, I would strongly advise prospective clients to explore alternative media companies and compare costs and deliverables carefully. Doing so may save you a considerable amount of money while achieving results that are just as good—or, in my experience, even better.

I was contacted by Prime Seven Media regarding an interview opportunity with The Spotlight Network. The paid nature of the service was not made clear at the point of contact. After conducting research and discovering this is a paid commercial placement rather than an editorial interview, I requested a full refund of my £500 deposit. I submitted a written cancellation request, was put on hold multiple times during a phone call, and the call was eventually disconnected without any confirmation of my refund. I am now pursuing this through my bank. I would urge other authors to research thoroughly before making any payment Update following refund: I received my full refund of £500 which I am grateful for. However I am updating this review because of what happened after. The company called me to ask me to remove this review. During that call they claimed they had purchased and read my book, stating they bought the ebook for $33. When I told them I have not released any ebooks and all copies are physical only, they changed their story and said they had purchased a physical copy and manually converted it to digital format page by page for easier reading. This is not true and is not possible in the timeframe involved. Further evidence that they had not read my book came from my previous call with their representative Amy, who repeatedly referred to my journal rather than Book One and had to be corrected by me on basic details about my own work. This company called me to ask me to take down an honest review and fabricated having read my book to appear credible. I am leaving this review up so that other authors can make a fully informed decision before engaging with this company.

A SCAM THAT APPEALS TO THE HUGE NUMBER OF ASPIRING OR SELF PUBLISHED AUTHOR’S ……..VANITY And EGO. An upfront LIE saying they would do a pilot interview for FREE with me , led to a request and PRESSURE for credit card details to exhort US$1300 from me for a supposed interview with Logan Crawford ?? Never heard of him, but I imagine he is another aspiring con artist very good at his profession of swindling wanna be authors. I have an excellent publisher and am a retired marketing professional , and warden at my local Anglican Church , so I was pleasant and suggested to the young man who LIED to me that he attend church this Sunday and ask God’s forgiveness , examine his choice of employer, and find work where lies and fraud are not part of the job ethic . SHAME on RYAN CRAWFORD .

Luke called to discuss my manuscript. It quickly became clear that he had not read the manuscript and had no idea what it was about. I entertained the conversation and after promises of big rewards, but dancing around the question of what I would have to contribute, I asked for a contract. They wanted $1300+ to publish through them. I listened to my gut and ended the call politely. I have just received another call asking to “talk things out.” Which I do not find appropriate and, as they have my details, I have blocked them. Having done research into Prime 7 Media, there is very little reward for aspiring authors, and the only genuine seeming reviews on Trust Pilot are negative.

How can you rumble along without saying how much each campaign will cost and for how long? Be. Specific so that you build trust among authors

This company is absolutely Abhorrent. I have NEVER enquired. I am a published author myself and I have NEVER contacted them. They have harassed me for YEARS. Everytime I ask to be removed from their mailing list they tell me no because I signed up…I never did someone doxed my details! Then I lost it and told them after the 2nd year of constant calls at all hours and emails with the same copy and paste BS. Everytime you block another one contacts you. They are literally breaking the law. There is NO unsubscribe button. I endured their harassment for months whilst pregnant and emailed and begged them to stop. I received a call whilst I was in labour with an emergency placental abruption AFTER they said they would remove my details and stop calling me. Flash forward to literally receiving a call being wheeled downstairs to surgery AND an email because I didn’t answer. Whilst my son was in hospital in the NICU, for 3 months I watched him fight for his life and no matter how many times I begged this company to stop calling or emailing especially at 3am when I was on high alert for the hospital calling due to my son repeatedly passing away and being revived. All I keep getting told is I signed up so no. So basically… unless you want harassment for the rest of your life by a company that is non compliant with the law and spams even when asked not to and with no consent for my details. This company deserves a full investigation and I intend to take my story to the media as I have witnesses in the OR that I was receiving calls even though I’d asked them to stop…it was 4:30AM and my son was being delivered stillborn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I responded to a Facebook ad years ago. After one phone call I decided this wasn’t for me as it was a vanity publisher (look it up). Cut to YEARS later and I still get phone calls asking me if I’m interested. I block every number they call from. It got to the point where I was so frustrated I abused the caller. After that I received an email admonishing me for my behaviour and assured I would be removed from their calling list. Cut to years later and I am still receiving calls. I beg you don’t give this company money. Don’t reward poor behaviour.
