Be Careful
This a great program for anyone looking to re-align their eating habits, learn portion control, and establish a manageable workout plan. I found it genuinely helpful for the first few months. Thankfully, I was able to sign up for a 6 month program instead of a year. That said, I don't fully agree with some of the coaching practices and messaging promoted through Prime Revival and its owner, Kelly. I understand and respect the strictness when you're locked in on certain goals (overweight, severe metabolic or hormone issues, severe health issues due to lifestyle). However, certain expectations and messaging that promoted bringing your own meals to weddings and very special events (without medical necessity) well past when goals were reached didn't quite sit right with me. At a certain point, flexibility and balance become necessary for long term health. During my time tracking macros, I did see benefits including weight loss and body recomposition. However, I also experienced extremely severe constipation and acne after several months of strict tracking. My coach recommended the "Bowel Mover" supplement for daily use, which I took for several weeks. Later, my brother (who works in healthcare) looked at the ingredients and noticed it contained senna extract, which can cause lazy gut, colon damage, intestinal damage and inflammation, and severe diarrhea and cramping (which I had been experiencing, but thought was normal since my coach told me to take it). I had to slowly wean myself off it because I had been taking it for several weeks, probably close to 1.5-2 months. It is recommended to only take for about a week. This made me lose trust with my coach and the program overall because this could've led to serious health issues had I not had a close family member who is in the medical field, which is the reason for my 3 star review. Once I stopped tracking very strictly, stopped the supplements and did a combination of tracking and intuitive eating, my skin cleared up and my bowel movements returned to normal.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are genuinely happy to hear that you saw such amazing progress during your time in the program and that you found the first few months helpful. Your coach truly enjoyed working with you and was thrilled with the results you achieved. We do want to clarify a few points for accuracy. The supplement you referenced is a gentle, plant-based product that contains only a minimal amount of senna extract, well within safe and commonly recommended ranges. It is designed to support digestive regularity and is considered safe when used appropriately. The coach who provided that recommendation holds an FNMS certification, which qualifies her to make evidence-based supplement suggestions. However, it is always important for clients to communicate openly about how they are feeling so the coach can make adjustments as needed. In this case, your coach was unaware that you were continuing to take the supplement or experiencing any discomfort/acne, so she was not able to intervene or modify your plan accordingly. As for the mention of bringing meals to weddings or events, that is not something our team has ever promoted or encouraged. We emphasize flexibility, balance, and long-term sustainability, helping clients learn how to enjoy real life while still feeling their best. We appreciate your feedback and are truly glad you experienced such positive progress throughout the program. Our goal has always been to help clients create lasting results while maintaining a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. We wish you continued success on your journey.
