It really happened: A presentation tool that made me LOVE PowerPoint..... If you can live with the few templates available and just want to use them exactly the way they were intended Prezi is probably fine. BUT: If you want to customize a presentation its a nightmare. The documentation is really really bad. You cant control your font size, you cant control placement and object sizes (no grid - no rulers) so when you think you have a nice presentation on you 17" laptop and blow it up on a projector it turns out to be a mess. If you think animations is difficult in PPT than try Prezi..... As a PLUS subscriber you are entitled to on-line chat support. A service I found of very little use.

I started a trial with Prezi and starting using their tools. I found it difficult to customize and very time consuming. My card was billed without an email reminder as stated and the customer service team will not issue a credit. Another very expensive subscription that does not care about it's customers.

Wish I had looked on here before I signed up for the free trial. Says it's £7 pm. The on day 15 they £273.60 from my account! That doesn't even total to even close to a years subscription. Even on the £19 a month option! Absolutely ridiculous! Currently having an investigation launched with my bank to get my money from these fleece monkeys!

AVOID. There's a common theme with people having problems. I signed up to the free option. Then I found that to download it I needed to sign up to a paid plan with a 7 day free trial. I signed up, gave my card details, downloaded the presentation and then two days later went back to the website and went through the cancellation process. I was extremely careful to make sure that I did exactly what was required. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill on my card statement for £273. When I went back to them they say I did not cancel. Of course the only way that I can prove that I did was if I took screenshots. I have never had any emails from them (have checked my junk folder) I have asked them to check their server logs and they say they can't. When you sign up they say you will get an email two days before your card is charged. I never had any emails from them. They say that they would have refunded me if I had applied within 14 days. The problem is that I only knew I had been charged when I got my card statement through which was 4 weeks later. Avoid unless you are going for the basic no fee no frills option. Never give them your card details

Don’t use it. Unreliable. PowerPoint is much better. There are some major glitches in the program. I had a black screen error which made me unable to edit it the presentation. It wasn’t an immediate problem (of course, it started when I was almost finished with it). It destroyed the presentation formatting too when I shared it. They wouldn’t give me a refund. I actually got 3 hours of sleep one night because of these errors. I had to stay up and make a PowerPoint instead. 80 slides. And then go to work for 12 hours the next day. Thanks Prezi! Incidentally, PowerPoint is much more user friendly and has many more options for animation. I spent 2 weeks learning to use it but that was a waste of time unfortunately

I got the full version thinking that I would need a feature for my presentations, specifically adding an audio file to a slide. It turns out that it was really annoying, and I didn't actually want that feature. When I emailed the next day and tried to get a refund, the sales rep said that because I used the license they wouldn't refund the money. There doesn't seem to be a trial period for the version that I purchased. I feel that using the program for one day and realizing that it isn't for you should end in a refund, but Prezi disagrees. If there's any doubt in your mind whether you will use the license, I would strongly encourage you not to purchase one.

I tried the 'free trial' in order to complete an assignment for a course I was taking. Personally, I did not like the program, it was a little busy for me and I find moving slide to slide to make me a bit dizzy. But that has nothing to do with this review. After completing the assignment I deleted my account as to not be charged the $84.00. One would assume when you cancel you would not be charged... I was still charged. When completing their refund request form there are options as to why you are making the request. The first option is 'I cancelled my account, but was still charged.' To me, this is a telling sign that many people are facing this problem. The catch to the refund is completing it before the 14 days after they charge you. For people like me, who do not check their emails and bank statement religiously this is a huge problem. So if you are only intending to use this program as a trial- don't or be aware of charges before the 14 day return policy.
