UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted to come back and update my original review because I think it’s important to give the same energy to recognizing when someone makes things right as you do when expressing disappointment. Our experience with Pretty Films definitely had some bumps along the way, particularly with communication and coordination leading up to our wedding. Those frustrations were very real, and because this was our wedding and something we can never recreate, Alexander and I were understandably disappointed. That being said, I’m very happy to say that the story didn’t end there. Once our concerns were heard, Alena genuinely stepped up and worked to turn our experience around. Her communication and follow-up were excellent. She listened to what we were saying, stayed in contact, checked back in, and most importantly, made us feel like our concerns actually mattered. Considering communication had been one of our biggest frustrations from the beginning, her attentiveness made a huge difference in how we ultimately felt about the experience. The changes we requested were made, and the final films feel much more personal and reflective of us. My husband and I are genuinely happy with how everything ultimately came together. I’ve always believed you learn a lot more about a business by how they handle a problem than by how they handle things when everything goes perfectly. Pretty Films had the opportunity to listen to our concerns and make things right, and they did. Were there things I wish had gone differently from the beginning? Absolutely. But I also believe in being fair and giving credit where it’s due. Alena’s professionalism, consistent communication, and genuine follow-through completely changed the direction of our experience. My husband and I can now look back at our films and simply enjoy the memories of an amazing day, and ultimately, that’s what we wanted all along. Thank you Alena for listening, following through, and making sure our experience ultimately had a happy ending. ❤️
