I was charged $1150 for 2 months of electricity . Apparently I had to renew my contract after 12months of use. When I was with txu it renewed every 2yrs without question they did it automatically.my monthly bill was$225 on regular but here I had to pay $1150 in 2 months.. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Power wizard did a pretty good job of keeping my power bills lower than my previous power provider but not as low as I had hoped. Now I’m being transferred to the same provider I was with before registering with power wizard. I will stay with them for now because I can keep my current plan but may look elsewhere when my contract is up. Reliant would not work with me for a lower rate when I was with them before.

Power Wizard found a plan that, at least for this year, is working out well. My current electric bill in the summer time (not balanced billed) is over 30% less than my previous electric bill (that was balanced billed) and is saving me a substantial amount of money. I live in South Texas and Air Conditioning usage is a huge deal over a good part of the year. The fact that my standard rate in the summer time is less than my balanced rate was with a previous company is a complete game changer. I have nothing but good things to say about Power Wizard at this point. Hopefully that will continue when the current contract expires and they lock in a contract with another provider in the next few months.
