We began using Powered Books a year ago and the service has helped us solve a number of challenges we faced as a small membership organization. The staff has been responsive to our unique needs and pleasant to work with.

Powered books is a life saver! I had to recreate my books due to a former book keeper not keeping track of things. Nova and her staff were wonderful, professional, and timely. It took some time on the start up with getting them the information they needed, but they were patient and wonderful and extremely helpful during the transition period. I refer them to EVERYONE!

I am not sure where they are getting these people to write these reviews but they are not legit. I was with them for almost a year and they asked me to be a reference within days of me signing up. Clearly, this is the situation with these reviews. They did not reconcile our books and always had an excuse. Their system of storing documents is heavily flawed and invoices were "lost" and were not entered in Quickbooks. They do not use standard accounting practices. It could be because their entire staff (outside of salespeople) are based in India. In the end, and almost a year with them, we canceled service as the owner was clearly incompetent. We issued chargebacks and the credit card company agreed with us. I would stay away from this company at all costs!

I moved my bookkeeping from 1800accountant to PoweredBooks in early 2017. I am VERY happy with PoweredBooks, and have never had a bookkeeper this easy to work with. Jordan who handled the sales and contract phase was very pleasant and accommodating. But the real superstar is Rina. She has such a great attitude, explains things slowly and clearly (several times when I need it), and never balks at special requests. I sent her a humongous list of things I wanted to be changed / done a different way, and was worried she would object to some of the more minor nit-picks I had.......but instead, she wasn't even phased, said the list was nothing compared to some others she received, and said she would take care of it as quickly as possible (which they did). Rina is very understanding, and has a way of explaining things that really puts me at ease. The CPA who does my taxes had some change requests too for how to document assets VS expenses, and she had that done in no time. I strongly recommend poweredbooks, and especially Rina! A++

Powered Books was the SAVE ALL for my self-employed business! They went back a whole year of tax nightmare to keep me on track for filing. Lifesaver to say the least and very affordable and easy to work with!
