About PowerBlock

PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

Powerblock U90 package
Awesome set up! Although the sport bench front post should have a bigger foot print from more stability.

Great products that are flexible and support a small home gym footprint
I researched several weight benches and found the PowerBlock bench to offer great quality for the price. I added the dip accessory and the chin up accessory as well. Really enjoying the flexibility the whole system allows. Thinking about getting the kettle bells for my wife. My 15 year old son also uses the system to augment his lacrosse training.

High priced but worth every penny
There are definitely cheaper dumbbells in the market, but none are built as well with a 10 year warranty. They are sturdy comfortable highly adjustable, and they replace an entire dumbbell rack. The price will set you back a bit, but they are well worth the money.

PowerBlocks are the Best!
I recently purchased the PowerBlock U90 set of dumbbells and could not be happier. The set is well-built, easy to adjust and feels great in my hands. I am able to perform all of my normal exercises, including quick weight changes during circuit training, without a room full of free weights. The quality of the PowerBlock U90 dumbbells is phenomenal and I look forward using them for many years to come.
