Poseidon ExpeditionsReviews of poseidonexpeditions.com

Our Antarctic cruise was everything and more than we imagined. It was an amazing 12 days with wonderful staff and expert Expedition leaders.

Straight up baller!!!!!

The crew of the Sea Spirit and the Poseidon expedition team far exceeded my expectations... and my expectations were high. We had two excursions to different sites each day while in the South Shetland Islands and along the Antarctic peninsula. Everyday there were opportunities to listen to speakers discussing the day's events and education regarding the land, the wildlife, and the history of the region. Every effort was made to keep passengers engaged and busy with adventure. The ship's crew attended to every need. Rooms were cleaned multiple times a day, meals were excellent and for a small ship there was really a wide variety of food available. Side note... how do they manage to keep fruits and vegetables so crisp and fresh when at sea for so many days? I just do not know how they did it but every meal seemed as if they had just picked up the fresh ingredients that very day. The excursions were phenomenal. Not only did you get the amazing zodiac cruises through the ice floes and breathtaking views of the land and wildlife, but you did it with a team of expedition leaders that specialized in the geology, biology, and history of the area. This was truly an adventure of a lifetime. I only wish I had been able to spend more time. Longer duration cruises with Poseidon are available but my wife and I had a limited amount of time we could be away. We enjoyed our time with Poseidon Expeditions so much that we are already looking at when we can cruise with them again. For next time, we're thinking about a trip with them to Svalbard and Eastern Greenland.

I can't think of a better way to visit Antarctica than with Poseidon Expeditions! My expectations were exceeded in every department! The Expedition Team was so knowledgeable and diverse in their expertise, and always so helpful. The staff of the Sea Spirit did an outstanding job of taking care of us in every way. We didn't want for a thing. The number of excursions, the sights, the experiences were amazing! The trip truly was perfect!

The staff and crew of the Sea Spirit were fantastic! We had high expectations for this trip and they were exceeded. The expedition staff, while always focused on safety, were friendly and really made the kayaking and camping fun, informative, and enjoyable. The hotel staff was great. Our room was constantly kept clean and well made. The food was incredible. We highly recommend any voyage on the Sea Spirit.

I loved the entire experience, the team made sure we got the most out of this experience. Even when the weather wasn't co-operative the team found new places to make landings. We even got a chance to fit in an extra landing.
