Disappointing
This is the second time I rented from them.. First time they gave me a car that I had not reserved but was similar, not very good start.. But I said I will give them a second chance, which was even worse… Received the car I had reserved with scratches all over the right side, visible scratches, not mentioning the interior which was not as clean as one would expect…. So disappointing to hire a car in a damaged condition.. Last time I will rent from them, never again

Let me explain how we work: Portugal Auto Rentals is a booking agent — we arrange your rental with the car hire company, and the vehicle is handed over by them at the counter. That said, I choose the companies we work with, so a car delivered with visible scratches and a poorly cleaned interior is still my problem to deal with, and I'm raising it with our supplier. What I regret most is that I only learned about this now. I'm available 24 hours a day, on both rentals you had my number and my email, and I never received a call or a message. Had you contacted me at the counter, I would have had the car swapped or the situation sorted there and then — that is exactly what we are here for, and we do it regularly for our clients. The offer still stands. Send me your booking reference and any photos you took at pick-up, and I'll take it up formally with the supplier and see what can be done for you.
