I just don't understand the negative reviews! I am overjoyed with my 'almost perfect' mini crossbody bag I just recieved! It is perfect!!!! As soon as I opened the box, my nose was greeted with the wonderful smell of leather. Inside the box was a lovely thank you card and a small business card sized card with care instructions and a web address for more information, if needed. The bag itself was stuffed with paper to hold its shape and carefully wrapped in tissue paper. I unwrapped the tissue with some fear as I had, unfortunately, read the bad reviews, so I felt disappointed before I even opened the package. Was I in for a huge surprise! The bag was absolutely gorgeous!! The leather is soft but firm enough to hold its shape. It's exquisite! I am in love and SO sad I gave one minute of credibility to the negative reviews. If you are on the fence about buying one of these...just do it!!! You will not regret your decision. Thank you, Portland Leather, for a most beautiful bag! I absolutely love it and WILL return for more purchases!

These poor reviews have to be bs imo. I ordered 2 different bags from them almost two years ago. I've reached out to customer service for advice twice. Once about how to remove a scratch from my bag. And another to ask about buying new hardware because the screw back on a stud fell off. Even though both of these problems were no fault of the company they sent me free items to fix them. They sent leather conditioner for the scratch and new hardware On top of the excellent customer service the bags are top quality. Real thick leather and heavy high quality hardware. I've had the bags for almost 2 years and they both look great still. These are the only 2 bags I've used in that entire time, so they definitely get a lot of use. I'll continue to purchase from this company every time I need a new bag

So far everything I have gotten from portland leather goods is high quality beautiful workmanship stylish well made I love all their products and support them 100 percent.

I was in search of something a little different (circular crossbody) to use on an upcoming trip... And, more importantly, I didn't want to spend A LOT of money! After a search, Portland Leather reared it's head. I was immediately drawn to the colors; choosing their circular crossbody in lavender! Personally, I am happy to report I am pleased! I've seen the in depth reviews that read like of a bouncing ball. As an accessory freak let me just say... I have handbags at EVERY price point. And while the adage is true "that you [do] get what you pay for," there needs to be an understanding that most times that equates with the ability/capability of wear and tear a product can withstand. Therefore in short-- buy the bag!!! If it meets your expectations... Keep it. If not; back it goes.

I've purchased at least 5 handbags now from Portland Leather Goods and every single one has been AMAZING! They have fantastic customer service also. I asked to return one of my purchases for a different color and was allowed to do so within a 2 week period as long as my bad was unused. They have great sales too. I will continue to be a loyal customer of PLG.

Since there were no reviews for this company on Trustpilot I thought I'd share my experience. I purchased the women's bifold wallet and the "Almost Perfect" mini crossbody tote both in the color Deep Water. The ordering was easy and I did get updates on tracking so I knew where my items were along the way. I seriously think I received my order within 2-3 days. Awesome! I opened my box and that wonderful smell of leather hit me. The packaging was nice and everything inside the box was wrapped in tissue paper. The color (Deep Water) is so gorgeous. The wallet is perfect. The bag I ordered was considered "almost perfect" and therefore did not cost as much as the "perfect" ones. However, I see no flaws with my bag and I love it! It's so cute! I will definitely be ordering again.
