Portland Leather Goods was founded in 2015 when Curtis Matsko began crafting leather goods in his Portland garage with a simple goal: create beautifully simple, high-quality leather bags at a price people could actually afford. What started as a one-man project has grown into a global community of leather lovers, artisans, and repeat customers who believe great design should be accessible.We specialize in simply designed leather bags and accessories, including crossbody bags, tote bags, backpacks, wallets, journals, and everyday carry essentials. Our focus is on clean lines, functional design, and real leather that looks, feels, and smells like leather should.We source our hides from the beef industry, giving materials that would otherwise go to waste a second life. Our leather is tanned in award-winning facilities that prioritize environmentally responsible practices. Because our bags are made from real leather that is not synthetically coated or painted over, natural markings such as spots, grain variation, and occasional scars are part of what makes each piece unique.We own and operate our artisan workshop, The Studio, in León, Mexico, located near two of the most respected tanneries in North America. Love the bag itself
Love the bag itself, but quality control is so important! Bottom is ballooning out and it won’t sit flat, and for that reason alone I’m returning it. Also, too much thread hanging from the seams. Overall, beautiful bag! Just not “premium” quality! Going to rebuy and hope for better luck 🤗

I ordered a tiny Daisy wallet, a Sabrina wallet, and a Luna pouch. Very happy with the Sabrina and the Luna, but the color of the daisy (foxglove) does not look as shown on the website.

Love the thick leather quality….
Love the thick leather quality and construction. I like that there is no lining on the inside. Very durable. The laptop backpack size could be a tad larger. Difficult to fit a laptop and coffee thermos and a small snack for work. You can jam it in but it’s tight. A key ring attached to the inside sideseam or pocket to attach your keys would be a great feature to add. The straps seem a little thin and could be wider/more substantial - not sure how they will hold up in time with daily use.

Great leather items
Great leather items. Purses are not lined but I love the raw leather inside. Many beautiful colors always rotating available stock. Colors are darker in person than depicted on website. Have not needed customer service yet to be able to review.

I Quickly Fell in Love!
My package arrived very quickly, and I opened it immediately! I was happy to see the purse and I inspected it at once to see if I could determine why it was listed as AP, and I could not. Although I love the size and color (small, black pebbled leather), I wish I had gone with the larger size in bone, as I originally planned, but that is OK! Now I can order something else, and this smaller size will be great for Tavel.

Purple purse
Am very pleased with your product the quality is excellent. Especially the price and the fact that it is made in America. I only think one thing could add to the quality of this product. I would have put feet in the bottom to keep it clean.
