I have never had a worse experience with a company. I bought an amazing tree but got home and there was no stand, I called the phone number to get it resolved but they sent me an email address that I could not send my receipt to, it kept coming back failure to send 4 plus times when I hit reply to the email. So I now have to go purchase a stand because they are unable to provide a valid email address for customers to use to resolve issues, Shame on you!!!

1/3 of holiday lights failed in 2 years
Today I tested 15 strings of Poly Group exterior string LED Christmas lights. This is their second season. Test results: 4 trashed because fewer than 1/3 of the lights worked. 6 had 1/3 of the lights dimmed or not working at all. 5 worked as expected. I dread the 2025 decorating. Poly Group is a Chinese owned enterprise with revenues in the billions and Americans keep throwing money at them. For me, no more. Pay more and receive years of value.

ZERO STAR COMPANY
We bough this pool in January of 2024. Put it up in May of 2024 (with timestamp and video proof). The liner is busted in one of the seams. The company refuses to fix the issue. Mind you, this is brand new, out of the box. The Asian man on the other end of the phone says that they sell these at that price so they do not have to honor warranties come summertime. We see how you work now, Summer Waves. I'll be leaving reviews everywhere to get my word out. This is fraud. This is playing with my money. By the way, the seam is so bad that not even $100 worth of product can fix it. RUN AND HIDE FROM SUMMER WAVES!!!!

If I could give this company a zero…
If I could give this company a zero rating I would. We recently purchased the 7.5 FT un Blue Bennington tree ( only available online from Costco). Set up was super easy and the tree itself really is beautiful and could almost pass for real. However we found it to be wobbly. So of course we re read the instructions to make sure we followed correctly and then checked the box incase we missed something, which we had not.
Written on the instructions in bold letters is 'DO NOT RETURN YOUR TREE OR LIGHTS TO THE STORE" so I called the number provided for customer service.
The gentleman I spoke with was quite polite and once I explained our situation he opened up a file and sent me a link to submit a complaint which I did.
Within 10 minutes I rec;d a call from the claim department saying that they rec'd my claim and were happy to see it had been addressed and closed.
I immediately told her that my issue was NOT addressed and I had only followed instructions provided by the initial person I had spoke with .
She then proceeded to ask me what my issue was although I had already provided the details in my claim.
She then asked if there was an insert in the stand and i told her no.
I also provided photos and a video which clearly shows the tree is not stable.
I was placed on hold for a bit and when she returned she once again asked if there was a insert in the tree stand which was the piece that holds the tree in place. My answer did not change as we had already confirmed it was not in the box or in the stand.
I was then instructed to return the tree back to the store ! I reminded her that I had bought the tree online from Costco and if we were missing a small ( vital ) piece why couldn't they just mail / courier it to me, only to be told it was not part of their policy and the only solution was to return to the store and re-order a new one .I was at a loss for words as this made absolutely no sense to me and was terrible customer service on the company's part.
I really try to focus my energy on staying positive and making the time for positive reviews but in this case I felt compelled to write this review for anyone who is considering buying anything from this company .

I give 0 stars for this company!!!!!!!
I give 0 stars for this company!!!!!!!! I bought a pool, when I opened up box I was missing a part to the pool, (leg cap) which is somewhat important for the pool right? I called the number on the booklet to be told I have to find receipt for it then send a copy of it to them so they can then send me a part. I misplaced the receipt so my bad luck! I would have to buy another part which was not my fault the company did not pack the correct amount of parts. Seeing another review on here seems they do this…. Miss a part so costumer can pay for replacement. I paid over 500.00 for this pool! They are really hard up!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poorest customer service
Bought a pool on line, and a small part was defective. After 4 hours on the phone and emailing, They said I could not provide them with proof of purchase, I bought on line. Regardless, they refused to replace that part which could not have cost them any more then $3.00

Company ignores manufacturing defect.
I have discovered a manufacturing defect which lead to the complete failure of four (4) sets of LED Christmas lights in less than 3 years. Maybe this sounds petty, but they were expensive. We invested in LED lights to save energy and because they were supposed to last a long time. Now 3 years later I have nothing. The company ignored my claim because I dont have a receipt, but I can prove that this is a legitimate manufacturing defect.
So, "Polygroup" is the parent company, or distributor, or whatever, for "Holiday Living" Christmas Lights sold at Lowes. Im not sure which one to direct this review at, so I may send it to all 3.
The bottom line is that this company (companies?) has completely ignored my warranty claim, because I dont have a receipt. I understand this is "policy", but I have discovered a legitimate defect from manufacturing, which (because its internal to the lights) couldn't have been caused by me (or any other human). If it happened on one (1) set or a few bulbs, you wouldnt have heard from me. But no, the same defect is present, and has ruined all four (4) of my sets.
This has been such a frustrating experience, I have to tell the whole story. So apologies for the length here, but I've got to share in hopes it will help at least someone:
I own 4 LED light sets (Item # 0477597) which I purchased a couple years back at Lowes. The lights worked fine last year and they were taken down and re-spooled on the original plastic spool they came with. The lights sat untouched until I got them out to install.
The funny thing is that I knew better than to put the lights up without testing them first, so I did. I plugged each set in, from the comfort of indoors, and they seemed fine, while still spooled-up. The lights came on (all, as far as I could tell), and everything looked great. So, I took the time to layout all my extension cords in the right places; up on the roof, 100' across my yard, etc.
It wasnt until I actually started to unravel the spool to hang the lights, that I spotted the trouble. The first set had 2 dark sections that weren’t lit up, roughly 20-30 lights each. OK, no big deal, its probably just a bulb that I can replace (I thought), so I moved to the 2nd set. Didnt even get it halfway unrolled when the same thing happened. Multiple sections of lights not working on this set either. I turned to my final two sets, and without fail THE SAME EXACT THING happened on all 4 sets.
Now, that ruined my day. I almost threw the lights out right then and moved on with life, but I didnt. See, Im stubborn and believe that my hard earned money shouldn’t go wasted. Especially after having “invested” in these LED lights to be better for the environment, last forever, yada, yada. I could’ve kept using my old-school incandescent bulbs (still could) but instead I invested in these which are supposed to save money and last a long time. Right?!?
DEFECT: I have provided a couple of pictures of what is happening. There are two metal connectors at the base of each bulb. I have found several of these have broken, inside of their green plastic casing. Through a painstakingly frustrating process of elimination, and time I didnt have, I was able to locate and replace a couple of the failing bulbs. After working on it for over an hour, and replacing 2 bulbs, I was able to get one set completely functional! Yay! Confident and excited I turned to the other sets. Even though I knew what I was doing, it was still a very tedious process of elimination! Initially I found malfunctioning bulbs by shaking the wires in a coordinated process. But that isnt working anymore! Now, I basically have to remove every bulb to find the ones that are defective. And then what?? How long before another one fails, and I spend more hours searching that out?? I used every replacement bulb they gave me, but the problem persists.
So, then I tried to get some help. First from Lowes, then from Holiday Living (the company on the box), and finally I was directed to the parent company or distributor called Polygroup. I did everything I could to negotiate with them, but my claim was completely ignored because I didnt have a receipt from 3 years ago. I cant even get them to give me a few more replacement bulbs so that I can fix the ones that are broken. “Im sure you can pick those up at local hardware store or something”. Their customer service actually said those words to me.
This cant be normal, and it cant just be me experiencing this. This is a clear manufacturing defect. One that will require me to throw-away a huge pile of 3-year old plastic lights and wires. Now deemed useless, and irreparable. Im curious about the environmental policies of these companies, because I would imagine this doesn’t fit.
I advise anyone reading this to never buy any Christmas lights from “Lowes”, “Holiday Living”, or if you manage to see “Polygroup”.
