No customer support answer whatsoever.
After spending 600 euros+ on a sound system which I am fairly happy with, I sent an email to support to confirm the mounting options for the speakers. 10 days later, still no response whatsoever. They are very good at sending automatic emails such as 'Thank you for your enquiry. Please expect our response within 48 hours. If you require immediate assistance, you may phone us or contact your retailer. We appreciate your patience and kind understanding.' Just do not expect anything else, story ends here apparently. I cannot imagine the mess it would be for a warranty claim. Anyway, this is the first and last product I purchase from this brand. If they cannot take 5 minutes to answer a simple email after a 600 euros purchase, I guess you better buy competitor products instead. Too bad, because the products are petty good, but this is how you lose customers. EDIT - as the only answer from customer support was sent via email and was essentially just an apology for the delay yet without any kind of response, and notifying me they would close the case. So I called the 'support line': 00 1 410-358-3600 Great service there - you can choose '1' to speak to a product specialist, or '2' if you are a reseller in needs of part. Pressing '1' gives you very good support where a recorded voice tells you twice to go to the website for support, and hangs up. Pressing '2' rings for about 30 second, then the recorded voice comes back and explain they have technical difficulties at the moment, and then just hangs up. All of this just because I would like to know the bolt standard/bolt pitch for mounting the speakers. Imagine if you need to do a warranty claim!! So I tried email, phone, next maybe a paper letter to the US support center to get an answer in written regarding the specs of the product I already spend 600 euros on? What a joke. This is game over, I did not think a brand like Polk could be so poor. I'll move on to another brand and will keep advising everyone I know to never ever purchase any polk product.
