The dry rope does not stand up to chewing as well as I would hope. We have a small 25 pound dog who ripped it apart in about 2 minutes. Our dog is a focused and determined chewer, but I was hoping this would keep him busy for a day or two!

I think the products are high quality but my destroyer of a chewer is only interested in chewing on the tassels of the rope tug toy (also the actual tug part is pretty indestructible) so I have tassels all over my house (haha!) but he’s not interested in the bone. It seems sturdy but he may have also assessed that he can’t destroy it - so why try?

Hi JC, Thanks for letting us know! Our dri-tech fibers are designed to tear into thin, fine strands that pass more easily through a dog’s system compared to thick cotton rope fibers. The main concern is if your dog is somehow able to undo the knots or unbraid the ropes--it is expected that the loose ends will shed some. Dog is enjoying the items that I ordered, however the shipment took way longer than I would have expected. Ordered nov 27 and arrived dec 8. Could have ordered from a merchant other than Playology abs got it much faster.

Hi Julianne, Thanks for letting us know! USPS has been experiencing major delays with delivery times due to the pandemic. We are doing everything that we can, but unfortunately we are at the mercy of the postal service with delivery times because they are operating at a limited capacity. We are hoping that this will improve very soon.

The balls I have for my 9 year old German Shepherd are very good he loves them but he broke the squeakers in all of them. He still loves playing with them.

It does not smell much at all. We got the cheese flavor. He played with it the 1st day for an few minutes. He hasn't touched it since then.

My dog, a Boxer mix, absolutely loves the squeaky, scented balls (the larger ones). It seldom leaves his mouth. He carries it everywhere. However, the squeak only lasts an hour or so and a part of his enjoyment is lost. He still retrieves the ball and has an insatiable desire to continue playing with it, but the selling point of the ball is that is squeaks. I am not sure how many of these balls we have purchased over the past year (more than 10) in the hopes of finding one that doesn't lose his joy of the squeak, but we have not yet had success. This ball is his favorite toy, and when we buy a new one for him he becomes over the top excited because he loves the squeak.

I had to cut the "fringe" off of the ends because my poodles (15 lbs and baby 5.5 lbs) were chewing it off and eating the strings. After that, the toys were better for them. I didn't notice that they preferred these to any of their other toys, including the empty plastic bottle in an old sock toy that I made so am not sure if the scents mattered to them.
