For years I have watched the battery compartment in cars I have owned succumb to battery acid corrosion. I tried all kinds of things to stop it, nothing worked. A little bit of this paint goes a long way. It easy to apply. For the average person(like me) a quart should be a lifetime supply. I don't how long this paint has been around, but I wish I had some 50 years ago.
