I wouldn’t risk purchasing from them now that they are going out of business. Sent my broken jar - completely smashed, there was literally no insulating materials to protect the contents of the package and can’t get a hold of customer service. Why care about your customers when you’re already going out of business right?

No wonder Pier One is hurting for business they don't do business right with customers I had a coupon that expired the day before they decided to reopen and they wouldn't honor it for $40 and I no longer could have used it online either without my Pier 1 Credit Card which I don't have so it's the way they do business is why they don't have business .

The worst. I placed an order 18 days ago. No delivery yet. Their website should indicate the real delivery time. I am cancelling my orders.

I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. I had always loved Pier 1 before. They are scamming the 'Rona situation. They took my money quick enough. Funny...I am working and communicating during this period. I am customer service. I could not contact them by phone or by chat and there is no email. No wonder you are closing stores all over the nation if this is what you call customer service. Here is an opportunity to earn some money during this shut down....oh, my bad.... you "earned" the money, but you haven't delivered the goods. Such a shame.... I used to love you all. Now I will be finding another store. Good luck with Chapter 11.

I have ordered a chair on 4/27/2020. As of tonight I have NO information on when it will be shipped ( says it is being processed.) I have tried more than several times to get in contact with customer service with no success- they are MIA. Chair has been paid for. If I had read some of these reviews I would not have shopped at Pier 1, at all. They use the excuse that due to the virus things are being delayed and they have a reduced staff, etc. While I understand that this is a difficult time for businesses if Pier 1 can not get these paid orders filled so they can be shipped out for customers to receive then store should not do online. I am not a satisfied customer and the lack of service is inexcusable. Very disappointing and will not recommend your business.

Bought a chair from store in ST Augustine FL had it shipped to my house and was damaged. I e-mailed no response ! I called customer service on hold for a hour. No one picks up. HORRIBLE ! And they expect to get paid. Never will I shop there again.

Be careful purchasing online from Pier 1 during this coronavirus pandemic. Pier 1 is taking advantage of the situation. I purchased a chair and ottoman on 3/22/2020 for my wife's birthday. The order was NOT processed for shipping due to the Pier 1 stores suddenly closing due to covid 19. They never notified me nor did they offer to ship to my home, which they are still offering for free. I had purchased the chair and ottoman with a special offer and free ship to store BEFORE restrictions had been in place to close stores. I contacted Pier 1 customer service on 3/24/2020 and sat on hold 46 minutes. I wanted to change the shipping to my house using the free ship to home option and they refused unless they could cancel this order and redo it where I would lose my discounted price! They actually wanted to charge me more money for the same furniture!! I told him, customer service to cancel my order completely on my credit card. I was then told they could NOT cancel my order, as the stores are closed. I did NOT order this from the store, I ordered online and they are refusing to cancel my order on a chair and ottoman that is sitting in a warehouse. I was told they cannot ship free to my home even though FREE UPS is offered for online purchases with code "Use code LUCKYFS* includes furniture", unless I  pay more for the furniture. REALLY!! They refuse to cancel my order and I WAS told I will have to cancel the order when the furniture gets shipped to the store in possibly in "four weeks or months!" My wife and I have been loyal Pier 1 customers for over 25 years, but never again will we ever purchase from them.
