Totally not the rate at the end comparing to what we signed up for and paid much more than we should have

Worst customer service EVER!!! Absolutely impossible to actually speak to anyone. Had to pretend like I wanted a quote to get a call!!

I have used Pie for years with minimal issues. Email a request and it takes 2 weeks but not really the problem. I’ve never signed an owner waiver with them or my state. I had a bad leg break last year. My attorney advised me I needed to file a WC claim. Pie subbed out the management to Corvel who completely botched it up! Then they both denied me and canceled my policy. I just paid another bill from a collections company today that Corvel never handled. They’re a great insurance company until they have to actually do insurance company stuff!

Pie dropped us after one employee had two relatively small claims, then conducted an audit on our small business and decided we owed them more than an entires year premium because we did not sign an owner waiver which we never received. Just amazing that a company that positions itself as inexpensive and easy for businesses would do this in the middle of the pandemic. After I pushed back they reduced the fee from $15000 to $600 but why would we be charged for something we didn't receive? Great marketing but can't recommend for small businesses.

Its one thing to say you are helping small businesses thrive, its another to actually do it. Pie Insurance is ALL talk. My company is a 1-person, Veteran-owned small business trying to stay afloat during this pandemic. While I am trying to keep the lights on and keep my business alive Pie decided I needed to divert my efforts and undertake a big, time-consuming audit. Again, I AM A 1-PERSON COMPANY! There is no one else to do the audit except me. I explained it to them, sent emails and sent in some information showing I am a single owner. How did Pie respond? They increased my rates by 150%! ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY PERCENT!!! I have had no issues since I have been with them. I have not had any job site injuries let alone WC claims. I have been with them for more than two years. My payments were paid via autopay. If I had a customer like me who always paid on time and had zero issues I would do everything I could to keep them. Thats how I run my business. Not Pie. They extort their customers. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They look to find ways to get more money out of the very small businesses they claim to support. Total frauds! Buyer beware. At first, everything was great. Then I tried to cancel my policy as I no longer needed it. 17 days after I canceled the policy, PIE wanted to do a "policy review" via a third party and for me to pay for it -- $361.00. Today, I received notification from PIE that they were going to withdraw the funds directly from my bank account. No. Not going to happen.

I am an insurance agent that placed a client with Sirius/Pie Insurance last year. An audit was recently performed, and without warning or documentation on the audit results, Pie withdrew over $14,000 from my client's checking account. BEWARE of this company! Many attempts to get this rectified have proven they do not care about their clients. I will never use this carrier again.

Don't use them. I can't believe after I had been to this bad experience. I have told them that all partner will not include or file any claim. after that we got for audit next year $1900+. In addition, we sign the exclusion form and do electronic sign form. I have my complete sign copy and they said they have not receive. it.... I don't know if this is scam?
