Great course. I wanted to be able to play well enough to accompany myself singing bravely at the piano for fun. Course was perfect for that.

This is so great for beginners like me. I can already play major and minor chords and its been like a week!

I’m on Day 5 of the course, after never having any previous music lessons. But I can now play major chords with confidence! Jacques’ lessons have been thoughtfully constructed, he really knows what he’s doing, and I get it ... I’m getting it! At 70 years old, I don’t ever expect to perform in concert or rival THE Piano Man, but am having a great time and am deeply satisfied.

At four different stages of my life I took piano lessons hoping to learn to play popular songs - never happened even thought my four teachers were told that popular music was my goal. Finally, in my 60’s I gave up on that dream. Just imagine my joy when I learned twenty years later I could be taught to play popular music in twenty-one days! I am thrilled to be taking Jacques Hopkins course and learning at a speed that is just right for me. I’m also meeting many very encouraging people who are also taking his course via his website. Jacques is readily available to encourage the students and answer their questions by email and online Q&A sessions once a week. It’s an amazing experience, and one I would encourage anyone to take who want to learn the skill of playing popular music on the piano.
