PhysgunReviews of physgun.com

Physgun is definitely one of the top tier Rust server host you can get out there. Their service and reliability are truly unmatched compared to other server hosts I've used in the past. Their dashboard is very polished. It doesn't feel like a 2010 control panel where you need to press 5 buttons to restart your server or see your console. Their Rust God Tools is definitely one of the features that sets it way apart from any other provider. The ability to see and interact with my server without having to launch the game is a very nice addition exclusive to Physgun. Lastly, their team is extremely active on their Discord server. No need to open a ticket to a support team where they need to relay information elsewhere internally. Physgun customers get direct access to people with technical skills to rapidly fix any issues (if any).

Physgun are an exceptional hosting service for Garry's Mod working with large servers such as ours on Civil Networks providing reasonable bespoke pricing for our needs and providing us advice that works for us rather than just upselling us for the sake of it. We have been with Physgun for a long time and although we have extra perks being a larger client, their support response times have been exceptional and we have been able to call upon them at any time to resolve any high priority issues to the point I am able to contact the CEO of Infraly for any issues and their knowledge is exceptional. With Physgun they also are exceptional for creating bespoke tools for service operators such as their Rust God tools and also on Garry's Mod for Physgun utils to provide optimisations for your server. Currently we have two dedicated servers from Physgun at competitive prices and the best part is, although they could have upsold us to the latest CPU to squeeze every penny out of us, they instead advised against an upgrade as it wouldn't be of any benefit for our needs, which has helped us save money as a company. Now there is only one thing I would like to see from Physgun other than a in-depth audit log in the panel, but I do sometimes feel their communication about larger issues are rather delayed, however this is usually due to investigative periods, but I do think when they are aware of anomalies simply pinging people going "We are aware of X anomaly on the network and are investigating" is helpful, as I would rather receive 20 pings about an issue rather than have an issue and find out 40 minutes later that its network wide and it would probably help me stop pinging them every time there's a issue with a third party, this when done correctly shows they are quick on the draw to immediately jump on any issues. Overall Physgun are a great host, and I do believe everyone should use them for their gaming needs and don't be afraid to speak to their staff :)

Timely response even with a lesser-priced billing plan on handling a ticket. I asked for an additional port to be added to my server, and within ten minutes it was responded to and five minutes later it was done. Nothing but the best to say about the service.

Great support

Responsive, thoughtful and knowledgeable support team. I've tried many others, these guys have both the knowhow and the support. Kudos to them - would recommend them to everyone-

I’ve been using Physgun for quite some time now and have never had a single issue with their service. On the rare occasion that something needed attention, their team responded almost instantly faster than I could even click the live chat button. Their responsiveness and professionalism are genuinely impressive. If I could give them six stars, I absolutely would.

Great service overall, with the support team being rapid and friendly with their responses. They've handled some of the most insane DDoS attack sprees I have ever witnessed very well. You don't just get a server with a basic panel, but you actually get a whole lot of other features, especially on the Rust and Garry's Mod side. Definitely a must use if you're hosting a gaming server.

As a 8-year developer, I've used many hosting platforms -- almost all of the major companies. None come close to Physgun. For context, I'm currently hosting 2 Rust servers at their entry-level $20/Month plan. The performance is unmatched. I've been able to host upwards of 100 players on my server, which has quite demanding plugins, with little to no performance issues. Their features are amazing. Over my ~5 months with Physgun, they've added life-saving tools such as the live map, task scheduler, and wipe automator. All of these features have been released in an exceedingly polished state with minimal issues, which is super important when it comes to hosting. Their customer support is great. Within 30 minutes of making a ticket about a niche issue (my server was displaying less ram than I paid for), I got a human response and an immediate solution. Their Discord is super friendly, and even has some fun non-invasive self promotion. Everything is super convenient, and saves me tons of time. Some examples include: - The ability to view detailed information about my servers on the homepage, including live player count, resource usage, and backup statuses - Notifications for panel/server maintenance weeks in advance - Ability to pop out a server's console to a separate, smaller window - Full FTP access (amazing for plugin development) - A server config editor that actually works correctly - Automated updates (to your base server, modding framework, and even DLL mods such as RustEdit Additions and Discord Extension) And they just keep adding more. Overall, although Physgun isn't the cheapest option, I can confidently say it's by far the best. You get what you pay for, and in this case, the service is well worth the cost.
