I’ve got 8 plumbers spread across the city, and my crew is always on the move. I needed a phone system that wouldn’t "clog up" (pun-intended) the works or cost me an arm and a leg to keep everyone connected. Phone2 fits the bill here. I can see exactly who’s answering the calls for plumbing jobs, so no more wondering if a guy hasn’t been on-site in weeks. I don’t have to pay for every single guy to be on the system either—just the main line keeps things flowing. The Android app is good enough, durable, and runs smooth on my crew’s tablets. It’s built for the grind and always rings so that's all I care about. I’m knocking it to 4 stars because porting our number took a week, and we had about ~8 hours where calls didn’t come through. Customer support was on it, though, and I know that’s just part of the process with these systems. Bottom line: Phone2 gets the job done without any leaks. If you’re a plumber or running a trades business, this is the pipe-wrench of phone systems—durable, reliable, and worth the investment. Recommended!

Phone2 has been incredibly useful for compartmentalization. I can now share my new work number through Phone2 while keeping my personal number private. Pros: Phone2 offers the flexibility of either using a number for “junk mail” or as a private number. It also provides convenient access to messaging and voice calling features through both its web and mobile apps, making it ideal for work or personal use. Additionally, Phone2 offers competitive pricing, and I’m currently able to add a new phone number for $5 per month (although I’m not sure if this is available to everyone). Cons: Group SMS messaging doesn’t function properly. When I receive a group text, the message comes through as a .txt file rather than a standard text bubble. Additionally, Phone2 does not support composing group texts. Support is also rather slow, but I understand the team is small; however, with the inquiries I’ve had, support has been able to help with no problems! A few minor interface improvements, particularly on the iOS app, would be welcome (as is the case with any app). It seems that Phone2 is relatively new to the digital market and overall it’s an AMAZING product.

I am updating my review. At first the support was great. So I opted to port in my 1.800 number, for $35. It took over a month to port in (and just did yesterday 10/10). Coincidently the day after I left a 2 star review here. This is good service, but the plans for extra functionality are still not released. "snippets" for texts was the one we were waiting for. I really hope their service returns to the quick and effiicient service we received when we first signed up.

Phone2 is a promising new player in the business internet phone market. Potentially the best bang for the buck. Pros: (1) has a one-time lifetime payment plan, (2) call quality and text messaging is good, (3) it has a web app!, (4) it supports OTP, (5) multi-user and multi-number support. Cons: (1) Canadian SMS functionality is broken, (2) web and mobile app is very rough around the edges (read: buggy). Actual customer service quality is still TBD for me. For comparison, I've paid and tested the following services for business purposes - Hushed, TextMe, TextNow, Line2, Ooma, and RingCentral. If you've had SMS issues, you probably requested a Canadian phone number!

Affordable, convenient and most importantly, the number can be shared with 4 people, all get the same call whether you are on your desktop or cell phone. I purchased their lifetime deal back in June, I even persuaded my brother to get the same deal not too long ago. Having a virtual number on the go for personal or business use is always welcome especially when you don't have to worry about future payments but crossing fingers the company stays afloat so we can enjoy the service for a long term. Their app is also functional and I've never missed a call or an SMS message. The team has been very cooperative especially when I noticed a non service related issue, I reached out to them and both Andrew and Alexandra were working on resolving it which shows they are attentive to their customers issues and go above and beyond to help resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame. Only super heroes can get things done with a snap of their finger, so that is not expected of us normal people with basic problems :) needless to say, I am satisfied thus far and of course more feedback will come in the future whether it is positive or negative. Keep up the good work.

I am happy that I signed up with Phone 2 about three months ago. Initially, I did run into an issue with setting up my custom voicemail, and it took some time to get it fixed. But the Phone 2 team has since upgraded its customer support system and also updated its platform, and things have been great ever since. Overall, the calling quality is good and I look forward to seeing future feature updates.

I saw ads on Facebook promoting the Phone2 service, and the LTD grabbed my attention. I needed an extra line for a new venture, so I thought I'd try it out. I first tried to sign up using a new email address for the new venture, but I never received the 2Fa sign on link. So I changed to use my primary business email address, and the 2FA email arrived properly and quickly. I started getting the account setup, but found the process of getting a sign on link emailed to me a bit annoying, instead of simply establishing a password and having my browser and the app rememeber it. I found it odd that I could not record my outgoing voicemail message through the system, so I used the third-party audio recorder that Phone2 recommended. Unfortunately, the short message I recorded was too large in filesize, so instead I recorded it on my iPhone's voice memo app, then emailed it to myself, then I tried to upload that file to Phone2, but it was the wrong format. UGH. Next I found a free web tool to change the iPhone audio to a wav file. That worked! However, then when I tested the system, the system default voicemail picked up. I realized I had to set the uploaded voicemail outgoing message to the number. THEN it worked. Alexandra helped me work through this -- on a Sunda afternoon. So... challenging start to the relationship, but I think we are in good shape now.
