good app and help overcoming some obstacles in connecting

I live overseas, so I was a satisfied user of Skype and could not believe that Microsoft removed it without replacing it with a similar application. Since I need to have a US based number that my banks can use to send security codes, I chose Phone2 and within 48 hours I was up and running with my new stateside number that I chose from a list provided by Phone2. There is still room for improvement (like being able to send an SMS or delete a chat when finished), but that does not affect the important issue of receiving messages from the US (not only from banks but also other contacts). And, if needed, I can do a voice call to the US using Phone2. So, to Phone2, I say 'Thank you for being there when I needed you!'

Works quite well for phone calls and SMSs. User interface is a bit confusing on a pc. Some services (like Credit Karma) know it's not a real cell phone and won't talk to it. :(

Phone2 works well when it does. Which is most of the time. There are still some sites which don't work. Etrade and Venmo are two that don't.

Love this service exists. As an expat living abroad I purchased with this retirement of Skype, to receive 2FA for my bank and credit card purchases. It works with all of them to receive the codes with ease.

It's easy to use and so far seems to work just fine

This app has been a great solution for me to receive bank and other 2FA codes when I travel. I transferred during the promotion for Skype users, and to be honest, Skype was never great for receiving codes. So I am very happy that I moved to Phone2. I took one star off because calls can be unstable. I hope that calls become as dependable as SMS codes in the future. That would make this a five-star app for me.
