PhenomsFF.comReviews of phenomsff.com

I Migrated over from antsports. You run an excellent site and are far more responsive than Steve. Which is not hard. I don't know where his head is at anymore. You have a better policy on your keeper leagues, which are a problem for him. One thing I liked about antsports, the victory point scoring. The one improvement I would like on your site is when you click submit lineup after you have checked all the boxes, it gives you your starting lineup in rather small print. Kind of hard to read. Also, if there is an error, it takes you back to the lineup page. It took me a while to realize that all changes were removed. After I had corrected the error, there were a couple times I had players in the lineup who were not playing that week. It took me about half the season to realize what was happening. At antsports, when you click your submit, your starting players are highlighted in green so it's easy to see your starting lineup. I think changing how yours works would be a big improvement. Thanks, Jake Collens

The best feature of this website is the participation by the commisionier. He has created a fair set of rules which he reviews and modifies every year. He is actively monitoring the start of your draft and is always quickly available to stop a draft and reverse picks if one of the owners has a problem. During the year he is very quick in replying to any emails and has made fair rulings when necessary. I have always received quick payment whenever I have cashed in one of the Phenomsff leagues. The site offers a variety of sports (I play in football, basketball and baseball) and a variety of league options. As an owner of more the 20 football teams on multiple sites, I have particularly enjoyed the low maintence draft (or auction) and go format for 1/2 of my teams. The payout percentages which start at 80% and increase with higher league fees were competitive. Paying $10 to a commisionier on a $50 entry for organizing the league, providing the internet site for drafts and the regular season, and overseeing the league seems more than fair to me. I plan to continue joining phenoms leagues for football, playoff football, baseball and baskeball (sorry I am not a hockey fan)

I've been on Phenomsff for 3 or 4 years now and will continue to for years to come. I appreciate the scoring system, in particularly D/ST scoring, as well as the .5 PPR for non WRs. No other leagues, that I could find, have this type of fair and consistent scoring system. However, I do wish that the waiver wire players were listed in a more user friendly format ( like ESPN's or Yahoo's) but all the other features keep me coming back and enjoying Phenomsff. For any first time users, look closely at your home page. There are a lot of features and links on there to assist you with turning in your optimal lineup.

Phenoms has a great variety of different fantasy game formats, awesome customer service and the best payout % that i've seen.

Love the league. Love the overall options. That said...there are way too many links and navigation is very difficult. A lot of times I need to navigate back to the homepage to get somewhere else. Also, very difficult to find certain things like specific team rules or even who you play in a given week. I always find it but the number of steps to get there, and the number of 'oh...thats not it' is way too much. Simply said, the navigation is difficult, it is not 'clean' and not much is obvious, and it is very busy. Sometimes i feel like it takes me five clicks to get to something that should be one.

I think the rosters are too small. I don't like that only 4 teams out of 12 make the playoffs. Other than that - the website was certainly easy to use and I didn't have any problems. I just like larger rosters and more having a chance to make the playoffs

Excellent service, Phenoms does a great job of organizing and running the leagues. All questions are quickly addressed. I started playing 4 years ago and have enjoyed every season!

Only change I can think of right now is to prevent non-playoff teams from making roster moves right before, and during the playoffs. There could be collusion among a playoff team and non-playoff team. Or a playoff team needs a player but is beat out by a non-playoff team who is picking up players for whatever reason.
