Very trustworthy and honest
I went to PGS Gold and Coin because I had many family items that I found after my husband passed away. I did not know where to start and no idea of the value of the items. After meeting with Sue, I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and experience. She explained everything to me as we went along and I learned a lot after our meeting. I can whole heartedly recommend them. If you are in a similar situation, I would highly consider doing business with this company.

Susan Darby, was super great to me. Wallet was stolen and needed money for a flight to get home back to my duty stationed. Susan worked with and was able to get me home with some items I had. Great interpersonal skills, smile, and customer service. Thank you Susan.

Best place to get the most for your money.
PGS has honestly the most professional and knowledgeable staff out of any place I've been to. They are all willing to work with you and explain the process for you if you aren't knowledgeable on gold or coins. It is a comfortable environment with seriously friendly people. They give you the best prices and you leave feeling satisfied. I love the people working there and know that they also have my best interest at heart, truthfully. Go to PGS for anything gold or coin related, it the best place in town!!!

PGS Gold & Coin Experience
My grandfather left my brother and I his coin collection. It was much more extensive as far as size then we would know what to do with it. And we had no idea what we had in terms of value either. After reading reviews online my wife decided to call PGS Gold & Coin in Wheaton IL. They directed us to their Palatine location and we received a call back from Aaron in a very timely manner. Aaron took the time to explain the process to my wife and also set expectations which I thought was very important. We decided to setup a home appointment to have the coins sorted and appraised. Aaron was very professional and fair and was comfortable to have in the home while he worked. I would highly recommend PGS Gold & Coin to anyone in a similar situation or anyone looking to buy coins.
