My daughter was out walking Princess.. our Havanese, and passed out. At some point, Princess decided to pretend she was Lassie and went running down the highway. That alone is upsetting enough, but we are so blessed and grateful that not only some wonderful people on the street rescued her (who we have no idea who they are) reported Princess as being found on the road to the police and in the process the police reported her missing and checked her chip and then returned her to us. You literally saved our lives, certainly Princess’…. thank you for all you do… this could’ve turned out tragically and to see how the process went after her guardian angels rescued her from the highway…. The rest of the journey was all dependent on her chip. They could tell who she was and where she belonged and how to get in touch with us. Without a chip, she would’ve ended up in a shelter or in someone else’s family. That would’ve been as devastating for her as it was for us. I hope anybody that realizes that this all happened because of wonderful people, services and most of all having all my furry friends chipped, dogs, and cats!!!!
