The puppies themselves are innocent, but they are frequently sick because store management completely neglects their well-being in favor of corporate greed.Their entire sales pitch is a manipulative scam. They promise you a "lifetime guarantee" on your puppy, but the fine print forces you to buy every single one of your pet supplies exclusively from their overpriced store just to keep the guarantee valid. The moment you ask to see a puppy, the employees immediately pressure you by asking, "Are you going to buy today?" If you aren't ready to drop thousands of dollars on the spot, they treat you like you are completely wasting their time. They do not care about finding good homes for these animals; they only care about hitting their sales quotas. Even their pathetic little yard signs on the side of the road look cheap, sad, and desperate. It is heartbreaking to see these poor animals treated like disposable merchandise. This store is running a multi-layered fraud built on animal exploitation and aggressive sales tactics. Go to a reputable rescue or shelter instead, and put an end to supporting this shameless greed. I am incredibly glad I did not get my full-blooded German Shepherd from Petland. Instead, I rescued him after finding him on Craigslist for thousands of dollars less. He is my absolute world, and I am so deeply grateful to have Jax in my life.

I had a very bad experience working at Petland. The managers were very rude, including Laura. She would yell at the customers make them wait over an hour. I have witnessed a couple of times that the customers would just leave their things and just walk out. They sell expired dog food, cat food discounted the animals are overpriced. They would send the puppies home sick the next day they would come back return the puppies without a refund or no money back lol the manager was very rude disrespectful. The customer service was very horrible and it’s sad to say that I had a very bad experience and I would not recommend or suggest to work there or visit this place. I think it should be shut down and out of business for good.

They call the puppies "shipments" and talk about how they "need to get rid of the old puppies for the new shipment". All these pets are fully neglected and they refuse people jobs if they say they love animals. This is a store for animal neglected and abusers. Don't support this.

We lost our lionhead bunny in January to a very traumatic bobcat attack when we opened the backdoor. The bobcat was on our deck and grabbed our bunny right in front of us. Four months later we thought we were ready to get a bunny again and give him much love. We purchased a lionhead bunny from Seton Petland in Calgary on the Saturday afternoon. We named her Happy. She felt at home immediately however we were all sad and realised that we were still grieving and not ready for a new bunny. After a lot of thinking and tears we decided as a family that we are not ready and it is not fair to Happy. On Sunday morning I took Happy back to Petland. I explained the situation and the lady said she will phone her manager. She came back and said I need to complete surrender forms. She then said that she cant give me my money back and her manager said unfortunately they also cant give me a voucher/gift card to use in future when we are ready to have a bunny again. I felt that we did the right thing and hope Happy gets her happy home with people that will love her. We were just not ready yet. I feel that there is no compassion, understanding or love at Petland. They only see the animals as profit. I didnt expect a refund but at least a gift card to spend with them again.

Petland Pembroke Pines deserves 0 stars If you are thinking of going to Petland Pembroke Pines to purchase a dog. I encourage you to read this post. It will take you a few minutes, but might not regret reading what we are dealing with by purchasing a sick puppy from Petland Pembroke Pines. Petland Pembroke Pines sold us a sick puppy. Within TWO days of purchasing the puppy, we took him to the vet for a wellness check; he was diagnosed with parasite, ear infection, found to be underweight, and excessive coughing. Petland of Pembroke Pines states they provided a heath certificate which indicates the puppy was fit for sale. When purchased on 12/20/2025 health certificate provided was dated 12/11/2025. This means the puppy was under Petland Pembroke Pines for eight days prior to us purchasing. Furthermore, Petland Pembroke Pines says and I quote "Licensed, independent veterinarian visits the store weekly to examine their puppies " if these puppies are health checked weekly as Petland Pembroke Pines replied to my complaint, I'm sure these licensed independent veterinarian provide the store with a health certificate indicating health conditions. I asked Petland Pembroke Pines to provide us with health certificate for the puppy between dates 12/11 - 12/19 for the 8 days under their care. Petland Pembroke Pines have never send such health certificate. I submitted complaint with BBB, FDACS, Humane World for Animals. Petland Pembroke Pines' rest to my complaint on BBB is that i'm being hostile towards them. I give my permission or will sign and document giving the right to Petland Pembroke Pines to make public my emails and show where at any point I'm being hostile! We paid lots of money for the puppy; we never expected the puppy's health to be in such poor condition as the veterinarian found him to be. Obviously, I'm upset (with reason) how much Petland Pembroke Pines charged to sell us a sick puppy. Since veterinarian diagnostic, my wife, 4-year-old daughter and I had been enduring personal and emotional distress due to Petland selling customers like me who believed them to be reputable pet stores to find out they sell puppies from puppy mills as indicated by an investigation from Humane World for Animals. Below reply to my complaint submitted to Humane World of Animal "Unfortunately, Petland is particularly notorious for selling sick puppies from puppy mills. See our numerous Petland investigations here: humaneworld.org I advised Petland Pembroke Pines on Humane World of Animals investigation. Their response to me was; all Petland's are independently owned, and investigation does not mention Pembroke Pines location. Just like any other independently owned franchise, all Petland's operate under the Petland brand. When submitting my complaint to Humane World for Animal s, I specifically mentioned the Pembroke Pines location. Their reply was a link to investigation on Petland. As mentioned, my family, especially my 4-year-old daughter have been dealing with this situation since purchasing the puppy on December 20th, 2025. It was our gift to our daughter. I purchased a puppy from Petland for approximately $5,000, believing I was buying a healthy dog from a reputable seller. In October, my dog nearly died and was ultimately diagnosed with Addison’s disease — a serious congenital condition that requires lifelong medication, monitoring, and ongoing veterinary care. This diagnosis came only after a medical emergency, which is common with Addison’s disease, as it often goes undetected until a crisis occurs. Since then, I have incurred significant veterinary expenses and will continue to do so for the rest of my dog’s life. I contacted Petland to seek assistance with medical costs related to this condition. After reviewing the situation, Petland stated that because the diagnosis occurred outside of their warranty window, they would not provide meaningful financial assistance for treatment. The only option referenced was a replacement-pet credit, which is not reasonable or appropriate for a living animal that is now a permanent member of my family. I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision. In my case, a dog purchased from Petland developed a serious hereditary disease requiring lifelong care, and no compensation or support for medical treatment was ultimately provided. I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a dog do extensive research and understand the risks involved before buying from Petland.

Empresa enganosa!! No site dizem ter a ração, deixam fazer o pagamento da mesma, não avisam quando têm disponibilidade de stock ...não fazem retorno do dinheiro!! Tive de optar por a mesma ração com mais kg, maneira de enganar o cliente,disse que ia com a Asae aos armazéns da mesma, após efectuar este último pagamento pois era a única opção, disseram me com toda a empatia que não queriam o cliente insatisfeito e que me devolviam o dinheiro!!! É gozar com o cliente!! Pediram me o IBAN , enviei e nem me respondem aos mails nem devolução de dinheiro!! Como é que uma empresa assim ainda está aberta???!! Vergonhoso!!! This company sells sick and dying puppy mill puppies to unsuspecting consumers for thousands of dollars. Don't be fooled by their lies! I used to work at Petland Largo and have seen this for myself. They are all the same. Every Petland store has an isolation room in the back where sick animals go to die because they are denied veterinary care. Do your research or you will surely regret it if you don't...
