Great product, wish I could track cash spendings.

This is a fantastic app for seeing all of your finances at a glance. There is a plethora of tools that can be used as needed to get further, in-depth analysis as well. This is a tool for everyone. I've had a couple of problem syncing some of my accounts, but the service is improving.

Good tool to track personal wealth/retirement/income/etc... Has some issues with being unable to change dates to reorganize things for monthly expenses. Support is not top priority as it is free, but in general it does everything very well.

I like how personal Capitol helps me keep track of my investments and compares my collection of investments against indexes so I can see how I'm doing

Personal capital is great, but there are some minor issues. When a bank transfer is in progress, or there is an error reading bank balances, the net worth amount for a day or two Is incorrect, and will be in the net worth history forever. There was also one time when all purchases during a 1 week period were duplicated 4 times (one for each account linked). As for missing features, the retirement planner has no way to plan for different contribution amounts or withdraw amounts over time. It is also missing the ability to keep track of cash, and distinguish between pre-tax, roth, and after-tax investments. It is great at what it does, but should do a lot more.

We're a LEAN FIRE family and personal capital is the only tool that allows us to see our projections accurately. I love the tracking and retirement projections, which shows what we spend monthly has a bigger impact than what we save total. The graphics are wonderful and make it easier to visually imagine our results. The manipulation level is very flexible and allows us to meet our needs. We don't use all the features, and I continue to be a little uncomfortable having ALL our financial information in one place - but they're protected.

I've been using PersonalCapital for nearly 2 years and I love how I am able to see my entire financial portfolio in a clear, organized manner. The experience has been great in helping carve out my larger financial goals.
