So much Value in what is essentially a free net worth calculator and tracker. The added tools for retirement calculations and automated budgeting tool to visualize what expenses and income you have over the past 30 days are simply a mindblowingly great tool for anyone marginally interested in personal finance or retirement calculation or financial account aggregation. My only marks against it is that my personal morgage with Wells Fargo does not appear to sync at all and after submitting a ticket to get this resolved, I have seen no resolution on this..... the tool allows for manual entries of accounts, so I am not without a way to use the tool in it's entirety. Well done Personal Capitol.... for those who wonder what the catch is, they offer optional services for funds under management for investable assets.

the only thing missing that was good about Mint is the ability to save changes to transaction categories so that your chosen category would be applied automatically

I get more accurate information from PC than from Mint, with far less intrusive advertising. Even the ads I do get are more germane.

Love the idea and how you can aggregate everything together. Only 2 drawbacks. The connection to the sites don't update sometimes, and there's a few accounts I have that just won't connect. This is not completely on Personal Capital, but it still keeps it from being the best!

Good, free software, especially the retirement planning tool. I wish the personal financial planning option was a flat fee rather than %AUM, so we do not opt to use that service. We had been with another company that charged a flat rate of $19 per month with no account minimums for access to a live planner by phone and email, and we preferred that system. That being said, the tools are easy to use and understand, and we have had very few issues concerning account syncing since beginning the service.

Great app. Review it multiple times daily. Sometimes they duplicate accounts but the customer service team is ultra quick to resolve any issues. Would ve nice if they had a feature like a paydown calculator for loans.

Personal capital is my go to for making sure my investments are on track, my bank accounts are recording the transactions correctly and I find financial comfort in knowing if it's accurate. I love it's ability to add an account and update it as soon as I log in. I love the blogs that show finance techniques and experience from experts that aren't always available from the institutions that most of us trust with our money. I was a little upset that my bank or Personal capital couldn't update my checking account for a while, throwing of any reporting that occurred during that time. But I think it's fixed so that's the only problem ive had with the app.
