I started using personal capital about 2 years ago. At first, I loved it. It wasable to connect to all my accounts and give me a high-level overview of all my finances. However, this unfortunately didn't last too long. Eventually, my etrade ESPP account stopped syncing. The account still shows up but displays a balance of $0 which is incorrect. I submitted a complaint/reported the bug to them back in August 2016. THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED almost 6 months later. The whole point of the application is to sync with all your accounts. If it's not capable of doing so then why even use it? I would understand if it was an obscure/unheard of financial institution but this is etrade. I've looked online and several other users are having the same issue and complaining about it, but there seems to be no resolution. Until this is fixed, I will not recommend personal capital to anyone. Wish I could say differently.

Great app. I've used it for years but have slowly started to realize that I'm no longer the target market. First of all it does not iintegrate with any Bitcoin exchanges (e.g. Coinbase). Second, I can't connect my N26, Starship HSA, Acorns or Betterment account. All of which is where the vast majority of my net worth is held. I worry that this will become a major problem for PC, which I want to see succeed, as it will lock out the very tools used by millennials who are statistically more likely that any other generation to contribute early and often to their retirement and HSA accounts. In order for this millennial to be able to fully rely on it - capturing the true picture of my net worth - it needs to adopt the banking 2.0 apps.
