Go to Mint..
Go to Mint... much better. I've contacted support a few times only to get form letter responses and nothing accomplished. Too bad; it has great potential.

Mr. B.
It sounded like a good alternative to Mint, but it's missing some key features that mean I'm likely to not log in again. 1. No line-item budgeting. It's standard practice in all budgeting best practices to separate out budgets for things like Groceries from Restaurants. Personal Capital is more of just a "spend [x] amount per month" and then you can see *where* you spent money, but it doesn't help at all for *planning* where to spend your money. 2. Doesn't link to a few accounts that are required to do things like wealth management. The main ones lacking are my life insurance plans and my kids' 529s. Both show up under the available types, but neither will actually log in despite logins working just fine when going to the sites direct. Also Wells Fargo won't log in and that's where my house loan is.. so yeah, that's a big deal. 3. The "add more accounts" popup every time I log in is obnoxious. I already have all of mine linked.. how many times do I have to tell you that I'm done adding?

I've used Personal Capital for several years now. They perform as advertised UNLESS anything changes with your interface access to your accounts. My bank changed their software which messed up the interface access. It has been two months now and their IT department still hasn't fixed the interface with no relief in sight. What good is the account if you cannot update transactions and balances? Sure the service is worth what you paid for it. But it leaves me wondering if they would manage your money like this also. I'll contact support again in six months. In the mean time I'm back to using Mint. They fixed their interface with my bank within two weeks. Just sayin...

A tool to understand that you don't have any capital for living freely during retirement. Essentially retirement calculator, not switching from MINT so far. Personal Capital should have much better reports for the transactions, aggregations, etc. Not enough, guys. I've deleted my account.

Only able to link a couple of accounts so far. My main bank accounts are not syncing. Sent in a trouble ticket. No help so far. Will give it a couple days, then I'll get out.

I have been using this for about a month and a lot of my accounts don't get added and most of the ones that did stopped updating. I love the charts and design much better than other services but most of the time it has no usable data. I WANT it to work but it just doesn't. I have had 4 tickets in for different accounts for about a week now with no resolution on any of them.

Sort of helps summarize, but doesn't do much else. Or at least easily if it does.

There is not enough personal control over my personal budget.
